This isn't my first go at a fanmade trailer, but my first one was really just a music video. For this particular one, I'm gonna go a bit further and make it feel like a trailer Project Aces would release.

Update: I've reached out, but after a full day, there has been no response from Phantom about sorting this out. So, where does this leave us?
I've had some more time to think, and while I'm a bit upset at what happened, I've decided to respect it all the same and keep the strike until it expires on July 5th. Even though I wasn't doing so intentionally, it was still ultimately my mistake, and as the original owner of the footage, it's within Phantom's right to uphold his strike over my usage of his footage.
From this point forward, I will not be using any of Phantom's footage in my videos. I will be reuploading the Ace Combat 30th Anniversary video in due time, but not until I've gone back and replaced his footage with something else that IS fair use.
Please, for the love of God and all that is Holy, DO NOT send hate, vitriol, or general negativity towards Phantom on my behalf as he does not deserve any of it. This was my mistake and mine alone, and as such, I'll be taking the L on this one and moving forward.
To Phantom, if he sees this, I truly didn't mean to infringe upon your work. My bad for not recognizing that it wasn't allowed. This was a genuine screw-up on my part, and for that, I'm sorry. I wish you the best and I will do my upmost diligence to make sure this mistake doesn't happen again.
You've probably seen that my Ace Combat 30th Anniversary Tribute video is no longer viewable. You may be wondering why that is.
I made a genuine mistake, and it unfortunately cost me. I used about eleven seconds of someone else's in-game footage of Ace Combat 7 in the video, the same video that was meant to celebrate not only 30 years of Ace Combat, but also celebrate the broader Ace Combat community. The footage in question is from Phantom's "LOCKED ON" Ace Combat 7 cinematic video.
I was under the impression that what I used last year was fair use. I even made sure to link the video in question in the description itself. As it turns out, I was wrong, and Phantom has decided to strike the entire video down and give me a Copyright Strike as of April 6, 2026.
I want to make this clear: I will NOT condone anyone who decides to send hate, harassment, and general negativity to Phantom on my behalf. He does not deserve it, and anyone who decides to do just that can kindly fuck off. This was an honest mistake on my part, and while I don't believe an entire strike was warranted, I understand why this happened.
I have reached out to Phantom in DM's to see if we can work this out and get the strike removed, but until then, the video itself will remain down. If need be, and only if it's alright by him, I can remove the footage, replace it with something else, and reupload the video.
To Phantom, I genuinely didn't mean to infringe upon your work. This was my mistake, and my hope is that we can work out this misunderstanding. I've sent you a DM request. I really hope we can sort this out.
Again, to my subscribers, DO NOT send hate, vitriol, and negativity towards Phantom. Most importantly, DO NOT harass him. He does not deserve it. This was my mistake, and it's between me and him. Anyone who disregards that can kindly leave.

Until then, I might as well go ahead and get this particular mashup out of the way. A lot of people have been asking for it and I'm finally doing it.
