hi guysss!! :3 ★ so i wanted to add a bit more here to explain exactly what the sri lankan ordinary level (o/l) exam is and why it's such a massive deal 🫧 basically, it is a huge national standardized exam that everyone takes at the end of grade 11, and it is famously known for being incredibly tough and stressful 🍀 you have to sit for 9 separate subjects—including heavy ones like mathematics, science, history, english, and your first language—all spread out over a couple of super intense weeks 🍵

the reason it’s so scary and important is because it acts as the ultimate gatekeeper for your entire future ❕ if you don't pass at least 6 subjects (including math and your first language), you aren't even allowed to move on to the advanced level (a/ls) or pick the stream you want, like science or commerce 🍥 it requires a crazy amount of memorization, writing speed, and endless past paper practice because the papers are made to be tricky on purpose 🫧 math and science are especially brutal, and so many students struggle with them every single year!
because the syllabus is so massive and the competition is so high across the whole country, people completely lock in and study for hours and hours every day 🍀

that is exactly why i'll have to take that major break when the time comes—when you're preparing for o/ls, there is literally no time for anything else, and my parents definitely won't let me touch my phone at all 🍵 but like i said before, i am currently only 13, so i have 2 full years to prep, which means i am going to use this time right now to spam you guys with as many kpop and katseye videos as possible!! 🍥

i want to get so ahead on content that by the time i have to go ghost to survive this crazy exam, our channel will still be thriving 🫧 and who knows, once i survive o/ls and finally turn 18, i might come back and start grinding on youtube full-time!! 🍀 thank you guys for understanding how hard this is going to be and for being the absolute best mooties while i navigate all this school stress ❕
