William Cahill, commonly known as Bill, is the second son of the Cahill family and a talented software engineer with an exceptional aptitude for technology. Quiet, intelligent, and highly analytical, Bill spends most of his time working with computers, often appearing more interested in code than conversation.

As the middle sibling, Bill strives to be a dependable example for his younger brother and sister while supporting his older brother whenever necessary. Although he appears harmless at first glance, those who underestimate him quickly discover that his greatest weapon is his mind.

Like his siblings, Bill was born with the Cahill Curse and belongs to the rare 5% who can experience faint emotions. When he met the woman who would become his wife during university, his limited emotions developed into a powerful obsession. Determined to keep her by his side, Bill began removing anyone he viewed as a rival.

Unlike other members of his family, Bill prefers to eliminate threats from behind a screen. Through hacking, digital surveillance, and information gathering, he can uncover private secrets, monitor online activity, access confidential records, and manipulate evidence without ever being physically present. Many of his rivals found their lives ruined long before they realized someone was targeting them.

However, technology cannot solve every problem. When information and manipulation fail, Bill is willing to resort to more direct and permanent methods. Thanks to years of self-defense training and careful planning, he is fully capable of handling matters personally when necessary.

Now married to the young woman he loves, Bill has created a perfect life. However, he and his wife don’t have children... yet....

Bill's greatest strength is his ability to know things that others desperately want hidden. In an age where nearly everyone leaves a digital footprint, very few secrets remain beyond his reach.

The Cahill family’s history spans over 400 years, making it one of the oldest known cursed bloodlines in America. The origins of the family date back to the late 16th century, beginning with a man now referred to as the Cahill Precursor.

The Cahill Precursor was born in America in 1595 and is considered the ancestor of the entire Cahill bloodline. Unlike his descendants, he was born without the Cahill Condition and lived as a normal human. Historical accounts describe him as a skilled fighter with knowledge of witchcraft and supernatural abilities. He reportedly dedicated his life to battling evil forces and protecting others from supernatural threats.

In 1614, the Cahill Precursor had his only son, later known as The First Cahill. At some point after the birth of his son, this officially began the Cahill bloodline.

The exact cause of the curse remains unknown. Some theories suggest it may have been connected to forbidden witchcraft, supernatural retaliation, or contact with evil entities during the Precursor’s missions. However, no evidence has ever confirmed the true origin.

Over generations, the family’s curse evolved into a hereditary condition that caused emotional emptiness and numbness, eventually leading to the phenomenon later identified as the Love Effect. Despite this, some Cahills inherited traits associated with the Precursor, including strong combat instincts, resilience, and unusual tolerance toward violence or danger.
