Position: Drone Operator cum Cameraman
Department: Broadcast Operation Engineering
Salary: Negotiable
Workplace: Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
Operate professional video cameras and drones for news, live broadcasts, and television productions.
Capture high-quality ground and aerial footage while maintaining proper framing and composition.
Plan and conduct drone flights in compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies.
Set up and operate cameras, drones, lighting, and audio equipment.
Ensure proper maintenance and basic troubleshooting of cameras, drones, and related equipment.
Coordinate with reporters, producers, and production teams during field and studio assignments.
Organize and transfer recorded footage to the editing or production team.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum HSC or equivalent qualification. Certification or training in Drone Operation will be considered an advantage.
Additional Qualification:
Proficiency in operating professional video cameras and drones.
Knowledge of aerial videography, camera composition, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with CAAB drone regulations and flight safety procedures.
Basic knowledge of audio recording, lighting equipment, and camera accessories.
Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and work under pressure.
Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Experience:
Minimum 5 (Five) years of experience in relevant field. Candidates with experience in both drone operation and television news camera work will be given preference.
