The China Traveller

I'm Stu, the China Traveller, and I'm here to take you on a trip around one of the most amazing countries in the entire world. Get ready to be amazed, and maybe don't watch my videos on an empty stomach. (You've been warned)

The water in the Yellow River is famous for its yellow/brown hue, but in Gansu, the water in Liujiaxia is emerald green! Truly amazing. Something I'll never forget!

Is this the most appropriate shirt anyone has ever worn? (Location: China's famous rainbow mountains, the Zhangye Danxia landforms in Gansu)

I'm in the desert! Although you couldn't tell from these pictures. Who can guess where I am?

Anyone up for a 2 hour wait to eat some BBQ fish! Every time I go to a mall in Beijing, I seem to pass this restaurant chain, and the queue is just INSANE. As I said, it's a BBQ fish joint. I'd like to tell you what it tastes like, but there's no way I'm ever going to wait that long.

Went to see the launch of a new Chinese EV last night. One of the car's major selling points: It's huge! So who do you find as product spokesperson? Of course, former NBA legend Yao Ming, who managed to sit quite comfortably in this new Nio; and even managed to stretch his legs out! Don't think I'll be buying one though. It's a bit too expensive for me!

If you want to see where President Trump visited today in Beijing, well here's the video of my parents seeing it before he did.

Beijing's Grand Canal is going to be all over Youtube soon; it has had an absolute glow up! It's quite simply incredible, and a lot of people in Beijing aren't even aware yet. That's because this is in the east, in Tongzhou district, a fair distance from central Beijing. But it's stunning. That second photo is a performance where your boat glides alongside another boat, upon which someone is playing the Guzheng (I think). Or you can grab a riverside movie (3rd photo), or maybe watch the fountain display across the bridge (4th photo). Or like me (in the last photo) you can overlook the river and stuff your face with food!
