It's been a little quiet on the channel since Outliers episode 2 released, to be perfectly honest, Im still not over how well the video did and I'm so happy so many people saw it. But with that also comes a pressure that I want the next video to not be a step down, rather continue to improve. It'll be a while till I release something as grand as that, but still, I want my next models and species focus videos to be just as impactful.

So coming soon to the channel is a brand new critter, with a special Species Focus animation! Can you guess which genus it is?

A huge milestone was achieved by Outliers episode 2, my biggest project and now also my most successful, hitting 65.000 VIEWS! That's the highest views I ever got for pretty much any videos!

It's also around the 1 year anniversary since I came back to this channel, and what a ride it has been. We were at 800 subscribers this time last year, now its 8000. I cannot even put into words how honored I am to have this much support, and to see what started off as my passion project grew this far. Thank you all so much once again from the bottom of my heart, for a hell of a first year, and hope you stick around for plenty more to come!

I already have some ideas brewing for episode 3, I think it's appropriate I'd do 3, everybody loves a Trilogy. But that will be for another time much later down the line. For my next video projects, be ready for some unique critters to join the Pre-History roster!

Every time I upload a new animation, I just become a big bag of nerve. So much work goes into these videos I can't even begin to describe, and no matter how excited I felt that I made something cool, the anxiety takes over me when it comes to releasing my work to the world, worrying if you guys would like it. And then the video does well and I am filled with joy and motivation again. 5 months i spent on Outliers episode 2, and while it still is my most ambitious project yet, it's already started to become outdated as I have learned some new things since the project began. And I can't wait to show you all in the next videos to come, and continue to grow this channel, making what I love most, paleo animations.

The Dimetrodon has a special place in my heart, cause it was actually the very first model I ever made. After following just 1 single tutorial to grasp the basic modeling tools, I made this terrible looking model, and my journey began. Over 10 years later and here I am making it again, having learned so much and came way further with 3D as a career then I thought I would have. This model was heavily inspired by Gabriel Ugueto's concept art for "Surviving Earth", in fact I can say Gabriel is one of my all time favorite paleo artist. I started making it many months ago, and it's completely coincidental that its finished by the time "Surviving Earth" released the trailer too. Recently Spishi channel was hit with demonetization, because the algorithm mistaken his 3D animations for AI slop. It's such a terrible ordeal that he has to deal with right now and is trying his best to resolve and rebrand his channel.
