I honestly thought, as Swifties, we would know better than this.

You don’t have to like every artist. You don’t have to agree with everything they’ve said or done. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But there is a massive difference between simply disliking someone and constantly posting “I hate him” and encouraging other people to join in.

I’ve seen posts saying things like “someone please get Sombr away from Taylor” and comments full of “I hate him” and “sameee.” If we’re part of a fandom that has spent years calling out the hate Taylor has received online, why are we so comfortable doing it to someone else?

You can hold people accountable without spreading hate. Criticism and accountability are one thing, but going out of your way to make hateful posts about someone is another. At the end of the day, artists are human too, and they can see what people say about them.

Just because a lot of people on TikTok are doing it doesn’t make it okay. We always ask people to treat Taylor with kindness and respect, so I think we should be holding ourselves to that same standard.

We are Swifties. We should know better than to become the kind of fandom behaviour we’ve always spoken out against.

First of all, I’m sorry that people are calling you horrible names. Nobody deserves that, and I don’t support hate being sent your way. I also don’t think @Makayla 𑣲⋆｡˚ should be making lists of people or calling people names either, because that’s not helping the situation.

However, I think the reason this situation keeps getting bigger is because people still feel like it hasn’t been properly addressed.

I’m glad you’ve acknowledged that what you did was wrong. That’s a step in the right direction. But I think what a lot of people want is a proper apology and a proper explanation. The post you’ve made is mostly about how upset you are, how you’re thinking about quitting, and how people are treating you. While I understand why you’re upset, I don’t think that’s what people are looking for right now.

What people are looking for is accountability.

Editors spend hours making their edits. They put a lot of effort, creativity, and time into them. That’s why people care so much about this. It’s not because people want drama. It’s because creators deserve credit for their work.

I’ve tried to stay respectful throughout this whole situation, and I’m still trying to be. I don’t want this to keep escalating. I don’t want people fighting, making lists, calling each other names, or turning this into an even bigger mess than it already is.

I think the best thing you could do is make a proper post addressing what happened, apologizing to the creators involved, and being honest about it. I genuinely think that would help more than anything else right now.

I also think there are still a few edits on your account that should either be credited properly or taken down if they aren’t fully your work. If part of an edit belongs to someone else, then they deserve credit for that.

At the end of the day, I don’t hate you. I don’t want people attacking you. I just want the original creators to be respected and credited, and I think a genuine apology would go a long way.

I’ve found multiple edits on your channel that appear to have been posted by other creators before being uploaded by you. When I brought this up, you denied it, but I’ve gathered screenshots and evidence that I’m sharing below.

This isn’t about bullying or sending hate. It’s about taking accountability. Editing takes time and effort, and creators deserve credit for the work they make.

If these edits were not yours, I think the right thing to do is admit it, apologise by making a post on your channel, and give proper credit. Deleting videos doesn’t address the concerns that have been raised.
