ICBT Kandy Campus

Over the past few years, the IT Society of ICBT Kandy Campus has secured many victories over island wide competitions. Recently representing the FOSS community of ICBT Kandy Campus six students were able to win an all island quiz competition on cybersecurity concepts which was conducted on Cyberzilla 2.0.

Cyberzilla 2.0 is an annual tech event on cybersecurity, penetration testing, sql injection attacks, session hijacking and associated other technologies organized by the FOSS community of Uva Wellassa University Sri Lanka.

This year the event was hosted online via the Zoom platform with over a 300 participants from universities and higher education institutes in the Island including University of Moratuwa, University of Japura, Institute of Information Technology, NSBM, NIBM and SLIIT.

The FOSS community of ICBT IT society was among the collaborative host campus clubs who collectively make this event a success. It is with great pleasure that we are happy to announce that 06 students who competed from ICBT Kandy Campus in the Cyberzilla quiz competition were able to win scholarships from SysCare IT solutions one of emerging and award winning cybersecurity and networking training and solution providers in the island.
