भारत लोक शिक्षा परिषद एक शैक्षणिक पहल है जिसे, 'एकल विद्यालय'- के नाम से एक शिक्षक और एक स्कूल की अवधारणा के माध्यम से भारत के ग्रामीण हिस्सों में ग्रामीण एवं वनवासी बच्चों को बुनियादी शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए जाना जाता है। भारत लोक शिक्षा परिषद् कई राज्यों जिनमें उत्तर प्रदेश, हिमाचल प्रदेश, और जम्मू क्षेत्र के गांवों में सफलतापूर्वक कुल 10890 "एकल विद्यालय" का संचालन कर रहा है।
भारत से अशिक्षा जैसी समस्या को जड़ से खत्म करने के मिशन के साथ काम करते हुए, बीएलएसपी दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों के गांवों को प्राथमिकता के साथ अपना रहा है, जिनमें खेती, नियमित पर्यवेक्षण, आवधिक मूल्यांकन के अलावा संसाधन प्रबंधन प्रदान करना, एकल शिक्षकों और स्वयंसेवकों को प्रशिक्षण देने का काम भी इस मिशन का हिस्सा है।
