Daisy made aguachile 😋 can’t get enough of it. I first tried this a couple years ago when her dad made it for a family get-together. It was one of the spiciest dishes I’ve ever had 🔥🥵 but I love spicy food and it was so good.

💍 We had a really special weekend not only with July 4th celebrations with Daisy’s side of the family in McAllen, TX - BUT ALSO attending the official marriage proposal of Daisy’s sister Ashlee (who we drove into Reynosa, MX together recently) and it was all so beautiful. (She said “yes” and her fiancé Chris is such a great guy.)
So freaking happy for them ❤️

This hummingbird rubber magnet (from the state park where we went camping a few weeks ago) is our latest addition to our casual magnet collection of activities/places. It's been so fun not only being reminded on a regular basis of an activity, but also "the hunt" for the magnet itself has been a joyful little side quest 🧲

One of my favorite parts about this channel is hearing everyone's experiences in the comment section.
Some of you grew up in Mexico.
Some in the U.S.
Many have family on both sides of the border.
And some are just interested in Mexican culture or our experiences!
I'm curious... what first connected you to Mexico?
🇲🇽 Were you born there?
❤️ Did you marry into a Mexican family?
🌮 Did you visit once and love with the culture?
🚗 Do you cross the border often?
I'd love to read your story!
