🏛️ THE ARCADIA MAYOR — Eileen Wang, mayor of one of LA County's
wealthiest Chinese-American suburbs, pleads guilty to acting as a
covert PRC agent. Her network ran a fake news website targeting
Chinese-Americans and surveilled Taiwan's president during a U.S.
visit. Her co-conspirator Mike Sun got 4 years. A third member —
a high-ranking CCP intelligence official who met personally with
Xi Jinping — got just 20 months.

🚨 THE CHINATOWN POLICE STATION — "Harry" Lu Jianwang, a naturalized
U.S. citizen, flew to China in early 2022, met with an agent of
the CCP's United Front Work Department, and returned to New York
to open the first known illegal Chinese overseas police station on
U.S. soil — above a noodle restaurant in Manhattan's Chinatown.
His co-defendant already pleaded guilty. Harry's trial is underway now.

🦊 OPERATION FOX HUNT — Since 2014, at Xi Jinping's personal
direction, China has run a global operation to locate, intimidate,
and forcibly repatriate political dissidents living legally in the
United States. Targets included pro-democracy activists, Uyghur
rights advocates, Tibetans, and Hong Kong organizers. Even a former
NYPD officer — Michael McMahon — was convicted for stalking a New
Jersey family on Beijing's behalf. He was later pardoned by
President Trump.

🏛️ INSIDE THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE — Linda Sun, former deputy chief
of staff to New York Governor Kathy Hochul and previously a senior
aide to Governor Andrew Cuomo, was charged with eight federal
crimes including acting as an unregistered foreign agent. She
allegedly added a Chinese government official to a private COVID
pandemic response call. Her trial ended in a mistrial. Prosecutors
are going again.

🎓 THE STUDENT SPY SWAP — Ji Chaoqun, a Chinese national and
electrical engineering student at Illinois Tech, was convicted of
acting as an unregistered MSS agent — recruiting scientists and
targeting U.S. Army personnel. He was sentenced to 8 years. Then
quietly released in a three-for-three spy swap with China —
returning to a likely hero's welcome in Beijing.

⚓ THE NAVY OPERATION — Two MSS-linked agents arrested in 2025:
one in Oregon surveilling a Naval base, one in Houston recruiting
active-duty military personnel. Both charged with acting as agents
of China's Ministry of State Security.

These aren't isolated incidents. They are documented nodes of a
coordinated strategy — targeting the two states that matter most
(New York and California), the communities with the most economic
leverage (wealthy Chinese-American enclaves), and the institutions

and local political machines).
