This channel is the official home for all Rainbow Shades content for fans everywhere to enjoy, wether made solely by ourselves or in collaboration with any of the awesome artist, musician or code friends we have. We are our own label, not interested in competing with other creators, and we don't prioritse making money. We do this for the art, the fans and because being awesome is the only thing we care to do!

Hello everyone. Most of you won't see this, and that's ok. This is a public notice to apologise for being away and unable to answer your messages and comments.
Since 22/05/2026 (UK) a group of masked youths on moped bikes started to harass my local estate, particularly targeting women walking alone or with children. This has escalated to harassment of residents, damaging of vehicles, and targeted assaults and muggings of children.
About five hours before the time of posting this, when returning home, ourselves and our ten year old daughter where harassed. threatened with blades and became victims of attempted mugging on our way home from Loughborough train station after a day out in Derby. A resident of Boyer Street stepped in, taking our daughter into their home with their own children to keep them safe, while we attempted to confront the gang, who lost interest once they realised they were confronting pissed off parent free of child, valuables and candy-coated fucks to give.
The gang fled, police have taken statements, we commend the persons who helped us (and condemn the cowards who stood by passively), and genuinely apologise for the effect this has on our projects timetables here and other platforms. Regrettably this whole situations means The Rainbow Shades are extending our break from work while we process what's happened, ensure our daughters wellbeing, and continue to try to better our impoverished community.

Heya Everyone! Sorry dipped out for a little while again! Mini-me is still being difficult about going to school, got into a literal fight with the school's headmistress, and generally having a wild time being parent.
Do not despair! We will soon be releasing a new psychedelic album with Chaotic Queen! We also have our upcoming song from Auranya, including her awesome animation! Luxian Caste is bringing the rest of the Chemical Hell album! And even grumpy face from Labores Somnium has something to drop!
Stay tuned, because we may not be consistent, but we are hella crazy fun!

Dropping a huge thank you to everyone who joined the ride for the last six months as we re-debuted our works! It's been awesome being back, with great thanks to Auranya, Hardbit, Phosphene, Weaponized504 and Aiyumi for making us feel so welcome! Happy New Year also to everyone, and belated Merry Christmas! We all hope you enjoyed our families musical insanity - it was really fun bringing together so many different musical styles and personalities under one roof, and we hope to do it even bigger and better with each new project!
