Clarification for those reacting to my Ramayana video:
“The Adbhuta Ramayana exists because the Ramayana tradition was never meant to be a single, frozen story. It was designed to expand, argue with itself, and reveal different layers of dharma and divinity as Indian philosophy evolved.”
This statement is not an opinion, not an attack, and not an attempt to “rewrite” anything.
It is how Hindu tradition has always functioned.
Hindu dharma does not operate on the idea of one god, one prophet, one book, one final version.
That framework belongs to Abrahamic religions, not to Sanatana Dharma.
In Hindu tradition:
Multiple versions of the same epic coexist
Different texts explore different philosophical layers
Later texts do not cancel earlier ones
Questioning, retelling, and reinterpretation are features, not flaws
The Adbhuta Ramayana does not replace Valmiki Ramayana.
It does not insult Rama.
It does not “invent” Sita.
It presents a Shakta philosophical lens, where:
Rama represents Maryada (order and ideal conduct)
Sita represents Shakti (cosmic power beyond form)
Both ideas exist together in Hindu thought.
If you believe Hinduism must behave like:
“Only one version is allowed, everything else is wrong”
then you are unknowingly forcing an external religious mindset onto a tradition that has survived precisely because it never worked that way.
You are free to disagree.
You are free to prefer Valmiki.
But calling another scriptural tradition “fake,” “anti-Hindu,” shows a lack of understanding of how deep, layered, and plural Hindu philosophy truly is.
This channel explores lesser-known texts and interpretations—always with respect, always with context.
Debate is welcome.
Abuse is not.
And Hinduism does not need to be reduced to one book, one version, one allowed thought to be protected.
