Like a few other mappers, my channel was recently suspended from monetization for "repetitive or mass-produced content". In other words YouTube thinks my videos are too similar to each other so I'm not allowed to make money from them.

I'm not gonna stop making videos or maps of course but expect to see some more variation/experimentation in my videos in the coming months so I can reapply. I'd appreciate suggestions both on this post and under my future videos so I can make sure you guys still enjoy my stuff 🙏

i strongly encourage all mappers reading this, especially popular ones, to put something like this in your bio:

⚠️ DO NOT REUPLOAD my videos to other platforms NOR on youtube without my permission! (including running them through artificial intelligence, etc)

accounts on youtube, instagram and probably tiktok have been taking mappers videos, running them through an AI filter, and reposting them with no credit, and profiting off it in both views and probably money. i was a victim of this until i put that in my about section and it seems to have worked so i would suggest doing the same.

the way this guy acts all nice and friendly and apologetic while being a hypocrtitical lying weirdo is crazy to me, but that aside

his excuse about "not giving credits for inspiration" is bs, you don't purposely almost EXACTLY copy someone's edit and don't give any credit, it's just wrong and i'm sure he knows what he's doing. i also love how he just calls the edits "similar", go watch our videos side by side if you haven't already to see what i mean

if this happens again it just becomes blatantly obvious it's on purpose and i'll have no choice but to do the same with his videos
