It has now been 3 weeks since this channel was removed from YPP, and I still have no answers.
I submitted an appeal and was told I would receive feedback — but I have received none. My dashboard doesn’t even show that my appeal was reviewed.
I am being told to “make changes and reapply” without any explanation of what needs to change.
I’ve made a new post on X (Twitter) explaining the situation and asking YouTube for answers: x.com/fdnyrespvids/status/2051354808334897214?s=46

Update regarding my ongoing issue with YouTube:
This is the response I received from support. They state that a “dedicated team” reviewed my channel, yet they still refuse to explain what specific part of my original on-scene footage supposedly violated policy.
My follow-up emails have been met with copy-pasted responses that do not address any of my questions.
I am being told to fix my channel and reapply, while at the same time being told they will not identify what they believe is actually wrong. That is the issue.
What do you guys think of their explanation?

Channel update: YouTube has removed FDNY Response Videos from the YouTube Partner Program for “inauthentic content,” even though every video on this channel is original footage filmed by me on scene.
For 8 years, I have documented real FDNY incidents across New York City. Each upload covers a different emergency with different locations, fire conditions, units, and tactics. This is not copied, scraped, AI-generated, or mass-produced content.
I appealed the decision and contacted Creator Support. The appeal was denied, but I was not given any clear channel-specific explanation for how original on-scene reporting was determined to be “inauthentic.”
I think many of you understand the value of these videos as a training tool, as well as a public, historical record of the work of the FDNY. I am deeply disappointed by this decision, and I am continuing to push for real answers.
