How much do we earn from YouTube and is it worth it? 🤔

1 YEAR = 10K Subs.

After a year of really hard work, starting from zero with just a Samsung phone camera and the smallest drone, we finally hit 10K subscribers.

We spent countless hours watching other creators, learning editing, filming, storytelling, thumbnails, SEO… basically everything. We invested more and more time and money into improving the channel and doing our adventures. At first, we even used AI voice-overs because we didn’t have a decent microphone. People hated it. Eventually we bought one, upgraded our gear little by little, and kept experimenting while trying to find our own style and niche - battling insecurities and non native accent ;)

After about 6 months, we got monetized — and that’s when it finally started paying off. Krabi travel guide was a turning point.

YouTube is honestly an ULTRA marathon. It takes patience, consistency, mental strength and learning mostly from your mistakes. The algorithm changes all the time, trends come and go, but once you find your style, everything starts to make more sense.

The biggest thing is just to keep going, even when growth feels slow and to find a way not to burnout.

And if you’re thinking about starting something similar — just start. Don’t wait for perfect gear or perfect moments. You’ll learn everything along the way. We laugh at our first videos now, but those videos taught us the most.

KOH YAO NOI & OTHER BEST THINGS TO DO AROUND PHUKET 🌴 Coming next week!

We arrived to Koh Yao Noi during a time that was personally quite heavy for us. Being far from home while difficult things are unexpectedly happening back there can feel incredibly hard, especially when you feel powerless to help.

However this small island is incredibly charming, peaceful and perfect for tropical retreat. The beaches might not have perfect postcard sand, but they have that raw, wild feeling — hidden corners, untouched nature, and a truly authentic Thai island vibe, which is today quite rare. And yes, the views were just mind-blowing ⛰️

We stayed in a small fisherman village, with a lovely thai family, in a simple, tiny but beautiful bungalow with a shared bathroom, before moving to something a bit more comfortable after two sleepless nights. Amazing food, people, fair prices, epic sunrises and sunsets, hidden beaches with hammocks and young coconuts made this trip truly special.

We liked Koh Yao Noi much more than Koh Yao Yai.
