Walk for Peace is a mindful walking journey dedicated to cultivating inner peace, compassion, and awareness in everyday life. Through walking meditation, reflections from Buddhist monks, and quiet moments on the road, we share how peace can be practiced step by step — not as an idea, but as a lived experience.
This channel features peaceful walks, live streams, short reflections, and stories from the Walk for Peace journey across communities. Rooted in mindfulness and Buddhist wisdom, our content is simple, grounded, and accessible to everyone — regardless of background or belief.
Walk with us. Slow down. Breathe. And rediscover peace in each step.

Dear friends,
I just shared a new video on my channel Tam in Vietnam.
It is a short story from an ordinary street in Hanoi — about an elderly man collecting plastic bottles in the heat, and one small moment of kindness.
This is the kind of real everyday life in Vietnam I hope to share more on this new channel.
If you have a few minutes, I would be grateful if you watch and walk with me on this journey.

Thank you always.

☘️ It is our deepest hope that you, that all of us, and indeed all living beings, may be free from unnecessary suffering. Life can be deeply difficult at times, and there are moments when it feels as though there is no way out.
But if we can just pause for a moment and look back within, we realize we do not need to search far away for a cure. By simply being mindful and opening our hearts a little more each day, we come to understand that peace is already here. In every situation, no matter how clouded or painful it may seem, peace remains present. We only need the anchor of mindfulness to clear the mist and allow it to reveal itself.
May all of us awaken to this truth, and may we all find the sacred peace that lives within.
May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏

Dear friends,
I’m happy to share with you my new YouTube channel: Tam in Vietnam.
www.youtube.com/channel/UCuGj...
This channel begins with a small part of my story — 5 years living in a Buddhist temple, and now returning to ordinary life.
But Tam in Vietnam is not a religious channel.
It is about real everyday life in Vietnam through local eyes: markets, streets, simple food, small homes, fishing villages, the sea, ordinary people, and quiet moments that many visitors may never see.
If you have followed PeaceonFoot or BodhiStep, I hope you will also walk with me on this new journey.
The first video will be released soon.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Welcome to Tam in Vietnam.

Dear friends,
Today, I would like to gently introduce a new journey: Tam in Vietnam: www.youtube.com/channel/UCuGj...
For those who have followed SakyaGotama and PeaceonFoot, you may know that my heart has always been close to simple living, mindfulness, peace, and the quiet beauty of ordinary life.
Tam in Vietnam is a new YouTube channel where I will share real everyday life in Vietnam — the streets, morning markets, small alleys, simple meals, local people, old neighborhoods, and the hidden corners that many visitors never see.
This channel is not about luxury travel.
It is not about showing only the beautiful tourist places.
It is about real Vietnam — slowly, honestly, and through local eyes.
In the first video, I will also share a small part of my personal story: I once lived in a Buddhist temple for 5 years before returning to ordinary life. But this new channel is not a religious channel. It is simply a quiet journey to explore Vietnam, daily life, and the ordinary beauty around us.
If you enjoy peaceful, real, and human stories from Vietnam, I warmly invite you to visit and support Tam in Vietnam.
Thank you for walking with me on this new path.
May your day be peaceful.

To My Beloved Dhamma Friend
Life is impermanent.
This body is impermanent.
All conditioned things arise, change, and pass away according to their nature.
Yet while this fleeting life remains, may it become a humble vessel for compassion, loving kindness, and peace.
If this body and this life can bring even a little comfort to those who suffer, inspire goodness in a troubled heart, or help preserve the light of the Buddha’s teachings, then I gladly offer them in service to the Triple Gem and to all beings.
For true peace does not begin in governments, borders, or treaties.
It begins within the human heart.
When greed is lessened, peace appears.
When hatred is abandoned, peace grows.
When wisdom arises, peace shines forth naturally.
May every step taken on this journey be an offering of loving kindness.
May every act of service become a cause for harmony.
May every encounter nurture understanding, forgiveness, and goodwill among all beings.
And when this life eventually reaches its end, may whatever goodness has been cultivated continue to benefit others, like a lamp that lights countless lamps without ever losing its own flame.
With mettā and gratitude,
Namo Buddhaya

Dear friends,
Alongside the Dharma, mindfulness, and peaceful reflections we continue to share through SakyaGotama and PeaceonFoot, I would like to introduce a new YouTube project:
Primitive Problems: www.youtube.com/channel/UCOp3...
This is a simple stick-figure animation channel about the strange, funny, and sometimes painful problems humans faced in ancient times.
How did people go to the bathroom before toilets?
What happened when someone had a toothache before dentists existed?
How did humans sleep before real beds?
How did people survive without modern medicine, electricity, or comfort?
Primitive Problems is not a Buddhist channel. It is a light educational and entertainment project made for an international audience, using humor, simple animation, and curious historical questions.
By looking at the difficulties of ancient life, we may also learn to appreciate the simple comforts we have today.
If you enjoy funny, simple, and thoughtful animated stories, please visit and support the new channel:
Primitive Problems
Ancient life was weird. We explain why.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

🍀 Being tolerant with others is the best medicine for our own hearts. An open heart is where peace lives and grows. When we can hold space for others’ humanness, we’re also holding space for our own. When we forgive their mistakes, we learn to forgive ourselves. This openness heals us from the inside out.
May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏✨

A Message of Peace from Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra — Vesak 2026
During this sacred Vesak season in 2026, Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra shared a profound and heartfelt message to the people of Sri Lanka on the occasion of Vesak—yet the wisdom and depth within his words carry a timeless meaning for all of us when we are all walking together on the path of peace, wherever we are in this world.
We warmly invite everyone to watch this full video and allow his words to touch your heart.

“I explained that:
When our hand is writing, our mind is moving together with the hand.
When our eyes are reading, our mind is moving together with the eyes.
When we read the words aloud, our body, speech, and mind are all returning to the same place.
That is mindfulness.
And what truly matters is not the sentence itself.
What matters is whether we genuinely remind ourselves each day to live more peacefully.
Because when we plant a thought of peace in our minds at the beginning of the day, then when we later encounter difficulties or conflicts, those words will naturally remind us:
"Today is my peaceful day.
I do not need to react with anger."
