Celebrating creative learning from my Genius

On the occasion of Diwali Eve celebration at his school he chose to get dressed in the attire of Guru HarGobind Singh Ji for his stage presence.

Just to brief you all he has white patches all over his body from head to toe.

So most of the time he is bullied by many and has low self esteem.

I am really grateful to his class teacher who understands his situation and encourages him to participate in curricular activities.

Well our Genius is super talented and extremely creative.

From getting his accessories ready , styling the costume ,all he does by himself.

Super excited but with a thought and he asked me....will people laugh at me?

Well I simply tried to focus the attention on other creative stuff and rewire his thought process to visualise the good things happening to him.

To my surprise ,I could see the zeal and enthusiasm in getting him dressed in power attire for the day

Hey Son how was your day at school?

Superb Mom...I felt really good about me.

Like....i felt happy and elated.

All the more I felt powerful in this attire.

I could see his mood being elated ,his energy levels boosted, happy and he felt confident
About himself.

Small steps towards self development.

You see clothes have the power to heal .... besides catering to our basic physical need.

For that per se Even the colors that you wear can impact your mood.
Cheerful colors can boost your body and energy, while darker colors create a more relaxed and low-stress feel.
If you're having a bad day, throw on your brightest color and it can instantly improve your mental state!

So what colour do you prefer to wear when you feel low and sad ?
