Hi, my name is Laurel and I’m 65 and a stage 4 cancer patient. I wanted to start a channel to share with others who are experiencing a similar situation. As of now, I’m undergoing chemotherapy twice a month along with blood draws and periodic CAT scans.

I believe consistency and familiarity can bring about a sense of comfort for those of us who are enduring their battles with cancer. For my vlog, I intend to walk a path on my property in the Sierra foothills. Moderate exercise is recommended for cancer patients to fight fatigue and increase endorphins, which can help with mood. As I walk the path, I will show the seasonal changes. At times, I may talk a lot, and at others, I may be mostly silent.

For all of us dealing with cancer, in whatever circumstance you may be in, I hope to give a sense of serenity and peace — something I experience when I walk my path. I intend to upload my vlog as often as my condition allows. I hope you will join.
