Before this became a music video - it was just me, watching my turtles every day.

The one with the long claws who spins in circles for fifteen minutes then falls asleep. Who climbs the glass wall for no reason. Who tries so hard to impress someone who pretends not to notice.

I've been watching these three for years. One of them almost didn't make it when I first got her. Another I've had since she was tiny. The youngest came into my life already a little grown - anxious, restless, always moving.

In the beginning, the eldest would quietly pull him close and fall asleep with him as her pillow. He'd calm down. Just like that.

He's still a little chaotic. But he's home now.
