Because when it comes to stroke — Every Minute Counts, Every Life Matters.

Proud to be part of a landmark initiative — the Stroke Academy, a collaborative effort by the Indian Stroke Association, Association of Physicians of India (API), and the Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI).

The event, held at Taj Vivanta on June 20th, brought together emergency physicians, general physicians, and neurologists for a day of insightful lectures, case-based discussions, and cross-disciplinary learning on acute stroke management.

As President of SEMI, it was an honour to witness this powerful convergence of minds committed to improving stroke response across the country. Education, awareness, and teamwork remain our strongest tools in saving lives during the golden hour.

This initiative marks an important step towards building a stroke-ready India. Let’s continue to empower our frontline responders with knowledge and preparedness.
