Channel-health-update: After a half-year hiatus, I started producing new videos in August, and made a real effort to make sure they were addressing current issues. I just blasted through 2600 subs where I was still celebrating getting 2500 a couple of days ago. I hope my videos are informative, and bring you new perspectives.

As some of you know, I've finally come back after a long period of low activity due to depression. So as I take up this pro-nuclear activity, I am being plagued by some sort of bad luck. To those who do not know, I have little income outside Patreon, so whatever happens that is unexpected, generally I can handle, until it becomes too much.



So there are two needs that go beyond my capacity to do with my regular disability-benefits and my patreon earnings.



Need 1. Because I have some skill in maintaining my car, recently I've been using my Patreon Earnings to fix it. I've replaced the shock absorbers because they were all leaking, it is quite dangerous to keep driving around like that. I also replaced the front brakes. But while today I was replacing the engine-mounts I discovered that the engine has a giant leak... And that the distribution chain may be damaged and must be replaced. Which is something I can't do myself and is far more expensive than my patreon-earnings would allow.



Need 2. Editing videos on my PC is a frustrating task, because I have a cheap CPU, low memory and a slow videocard, which means that editing gets very slow and that I have to restart the PC every hour, sometimes hour-and-a-half while editing. I would love to be able to afford an upgrade. This is however, not the most pressing need. (just to be clear, I used to build editing pc's in a professional capacity, I know how to build, set up, and make these machines run optimally for this specific task). I would not need to install the newest hardware to get better performance from my machine, a couple of upgrades should be sufficient (I run a AMD Ryzen 5 5500, with 16GB of memory - and these seem to be the biggest bottlenecks, I would upgrade to a Ryzen 9 5800x or 5900x with 64GB of memory - and if I get lucky, upgrade to an RTX4070 and new more efficient PSU).



So if any of you would like to help me bear some of the cost to get the car fixed, I may be able to invest in some new computer hardware in the coming months.
