Welcome to my channel! I’m Hilary Burt – composer, producer, musician, dyslexia tutor, dog and nature lover.

On this channel, you'll find plenty of original songs, piano tutorials, funky backing tracks, music theory tips, Sibelius & Musescore tutorials, plus relaxing nature soundscapes and dog walks recorded around where we live in West Sussex.

I write jazz-inspired music and have released many tracks available on Spotify as well as with sync agencies and music libraries worldwide.

I’ve been a teacher since 1986, and specialise in working 1:1 with children who have dyslexic-type difficulties - both online and face to face.
