I was told I was cool toned, but that has not worked well for me so I’m experimenting with warm tones now!
I don’t preach or tell you what to do, I test different shades and products out on camera so you can decide for yourself what works!
I’m Marie — not a makeup artist, just a real woman who pivoted from corporate life to start over on YouTube in my 50s. I test makeup from a normal consumer’s perspective and share what actually works.
I love testing british high street and drugstore makeup and occasionally a few luxury items as well.

This is my arm. See it on my tan coloured sofa. This is a WARM toned arm 🧡
I am sure many of you will still swear that I am a summer or winter cool tone.
I have tried pinks and mauves again and again as the perfect cool tones and every time I look like a corpse ☠️
The only thing that makes sense is that I am warm ☀️
How did it take me so long to reject the cool toned gas lighting 😂

Does anyone think I could be WARM?
Despite having had three digital colour analyses done over the years and every one of them said I am COOL, I still have some doubts about whether I could be WARM. But when I have shown myself in warm makeup and clothing, so many of you have said 'that's not your colour'.
Here I am draped in official seasonal drapes, one colour pair from each season.
