So... I'm back, but I'm doing my content slightly different now.
For me, normal minecraft content is really boring and that's why it's so hard for me to make videos like most minecraft youtubers do with thise crazy editing quality and whatnot. I just want to have fun, so I've decided to make satire videos from now on.

Not only dos this make it somewhat fun to record, but also much easier to edit on my half. I know some of my videos are slightly controversial, but I don't really care. What I care about is if YOU guys enjoy this content. I'm just curious. Comment if you do or not. (yeah this video might piss some ppl off oops)

1k for my first video back might actually be possible all thanks to you guys! I appreciate this and it only propels me to make more content, another video is in the works and will come out soon.

Only a slight problem, in 2 weeks time I will not be here. So, I cannot do videos. Don't worry, I have so pre-prepared shorts but I'm not sure if I can get another video out for the rest of July (excluding the one in the works atm). If I can get the time to do one I will, but if not, rest assured that shorts will come out of previous content.

I regret to inform you that I will be quitting this channel or taking a VERY long break until I can figure out to do with this channel or just leave it like this.

I have had this specific channel for over two years and I won't be deleting it off the platform because there is too much content I out effort into on here. I don't want to do this but I will, I started this specific channel as a Roblox creator then branched off into Minecraft. I never really liked Minecraft, I only did it because everyone played it and its a popular topic.

Why am I quitting then?

1: Because Minecraft is boring (my opinion). I find vanilla Minecraft boring and everyone seems to enjoy that but I definitely don't. I quite like modded Minecraft, because it adds more content to the game that boring, simple vanilla Minecraft doesn't have.
I have done Minecraft for too long and it's not interesting enough for me anymore. It's overused, overplayed and lost the hype.

2. Minecraft content is TOO demanding. For example, my mentor and good friend ‪@ItzLLaggy‬ is devoted to making Minecraft content. The problem he faces EVEN more than before was, retention and ideas. he has to spend ages making super overedited videos just to able to compete with some of the other content out there, because nowadays attention spans have dwindled and it's (for some reason) hit the Minecraft community HARD.
I will be frank here, if you type up Minecraft and look at the first video you see its going to sound something like this: "Today I ___, In Minecraft, and here's how I did it" and there's like some large text on the screen and like 50 different b-roll clips shoved in your face so you don't think it's "boring".
I personally hate editing like this, because not only it takes AGES, but it's also boring and tedious. It also doesn't resonate with me, because it's not my style of editing or making a video engaging.

Turns out, everyone wants that and ONLY that type of editing in the minecraft community nowadays, and I can't compete.

3. the BIG one, LACK OF IDEAS. Not only when you dislike something you can't think of anything, it's even worse when it's the biggest game on the platform and literally EVERYONE does it. It's not surprising if the extremely simple game of Minecraft has run out of new and unique ideas, and guess what it HAS. and that leads onto...

4. Unoriginality, the biggest problem with Minecraft. Type up minecraft and the first thing you see is either: surviving 100-500 days in Minecraft (typically hardcore), SMP content, 1000 players simulate civilization, or weird kids content.

This is what everyone does, and this is what people see ALL THE TIME. How can you not get bored of everyone doing THE SAME THING. I don't get it, and I'm supposed to do this in order to succeed as a Minecraft youtuber?

So that is it, along with the fact I have barely any friends. Minecraft is hard for me, and I'm only doing content to keep this channel alive because I feel like some sort of responsibility to it. It will still be here but I guess this is my long and formal goodbye/complaint.

I loved my time doing minecraft on this channel. For my viewers (if I had any besides my friends), I'm NOT quitting Youtube, I will continue to do my style of content and stuff I actually enjoy and I'm good at on DinistubeRB.

Guys, Should I redo The Surplus? I may have a better idea and the first one was more like my first time to minecraft cinematography.

Things I know I need to improve on is friends, or people willing to help me do this because it is REALLY hard to make something like this with many characters when I have like no one who is willing to play the characters...
(I'm NOT continuing doing the original one because the story is just not suited for like 2-3 people working on it)
