From Vlogger to Speaker: Sharing the lifeprinttv Storytelling Framework

Isang karangalan ang makapagbahagi ng aking knowledge and experience in content creation sa ating magigiting na kasundaluhan ng 8ID Stormtroopers dito sa Camp Lukban, Barangay Maulong, Catbalogan City.

I was honored to facilitate an afternoon session during their 3-day Social Media Engagement Workshop, right after Sir Ed Tequin's lecture in the morning where he delivered a Mobile Photography lesson. During the session, I shared how to create storytelling that people will remember.

Sa aking message, ibinahagi ko ang humble beginnings ng lifeptinttv, how I started vlogging, the struggles I encountered, and the lessons I learned throughout my journey as a content creator. One of the highlights of the workshop was introducing the lifeprinttv Storytelling Framework and the Story Structure I personally use to create my videos. We also discussed the essential elements of storytelling that help transform ordinary footage into meaningful stories that connect with people.

I truly believe that great storytelling is the foundation of content that inspires, informs, and leaves a lasting impact. Of course, marami pang ibang topics sa content creation ang dapat matutunan, but because of our limited time, I focused on sharing the principles that I believe will be most valuable in helping our soldiers communicate effectively and responsibly with the public.

Maraming salamat sa 8ID Stormtroopers for the trust and opportunity. It was truly an honor to be part of this workshop, and I hope that, even in a short time, I was able to share knowledge they can apply to telling meaningful stories on their own platforms.
Today, content creation is no longer just about posting photos or videos; it's one of the most powerful tools for communication, education, public information, advocacy, and community engagement. Every organization has a story worth telling, and learning how to tell that story effectively can build trust, inspire people, and create a lasting impact.

This Picture Tells Everything I have Gone Through
2022 Biri Island, Northern Samar.

This was my very first visit to Biri Island, almost a year after I met Sir Manny.

Nakakatawa isipin na noong unang beses kong makarating dito, ang nag-tour pa sa akin ay isang taong hindi taga-Samar. Believe it or not, he has now returned to this island more than 15 times.

Looking back, this was also the beginning of my journey with LifePrintTV, creating outdoor and travel content.

At that time, I barely knew anything about travel filmmaking. Kahit sariling probinsya ko, hindi ko pa kabisado ang mga pasikot-sikot. I didn't know how to tell stories through video, what camera angles to use, or even what gear, clothing, and footwear were appropriate for outdoor adventures.

Now I understand why only a few people watched my videos back then. My content still had a long way to go. I had to go through years of learning, making mistakes, improving, and repeating the process before I could create videos that truly reflected the quality I was aiming for.

I'm grateful that I didn't skip that journey.

There were moments when I wanted to quit. I even thought of going back to focusing on my T-shirt printing business because I couldn't see any progress in my content.

But everything changed when I made one crucial decision.

I chose to continue vlogging, even though I had no idea where it would lead me.

Today, I'm slowly seeing the results of that decision. Not because success came overnight, but because I learned to embrace the process.

If there's one lesson this journey has taught me, it's this:

Keep learning. Keep improving. Stay consistent.

The process may be long, but one day you'll look back and realize that every step was preparing you for where you are today.

The Grand Canyon of Laoang

At first glance, it looks like a road passing through a dense forest. But this is actually Inugkahan Road in the town of Laoang, Northern Samar.

The term "Inugkahan" is a local word used in parts of Northern Samar that refers to land being excavated or cut through to create a road. In this case, a limestone hill was carved to make way for the roadway.

Over the years, trees, vines, and ferns have covered the rocky walls, creating a canyon-like landscape. Locals call it the "Grand Canyon" because of its natural appearance.

Passing through this narrow corridor, you can feel a brief burst of cool air before emerging on the other side of town.
