From Jacques Anquetil and Eddy Merckx to Sean Kelly and Alberto Contador, Paris–Nice has long been one of cycling’s great proving grounds. Cold rain, mountain climbs, and the long journey toward the Mediterranean have shaped legends for generations.

In 2026, Jonas Vingegaard added his name to that remarkable list of champions.

Congratulations to Jonas and to all the riders who continue to make this race one of the most exciting battles of the early season.
