this carousel is my reminder. A reminder to be grateful for the life I did live, the places I still reached, and the moments that showed up despite everything not going to plan. If a year that challenged me this much could still look like this, then there’s so much more ahead.
Sharing this not to romanticise struggle but to remind myself (and maybe you) that progress doesn’t always look loud, linear, or perfect. Sometimes it just looks like showing up, month after month 🌻💛🧿
10 things 2025 taught me ❤️🩹
1. Life isn’t a race and there’s no universal timeline you’re supposed to follow.
2. Comparison will always steal joy; your journey is meant to look different.
3. Progress doesn’t always look productive - sometimes it looks like rest and survival.
4. Not everything that didn’t work out was a failure; some things were protection.
5. Your pace is valid, even when it’s slower than everyone else’s.
6. You can be grateful and disappointed at the same time - both can coexist.
7. Healing and growth aren’t linear; setbacks don’t erase progress.
8. Success is deeply personal - it doesn’t need external validation.
9. Showing up imperfectly still counts as showing up.
10. Even “not the best year” can still shape you in the best ways.
