I am an independent author, originally from Vrancea, Romania, currently living in the SW of Scotland.

Gardening, collecting old photographs, and listening to the sound of rain when plotting a new, exciting story are some of my favorite things to do, and they do show up in my stories in one way or another.

I have published a collection of short horror stories (for adults only) titled 'Whispers and Other Strange Stories' and several children's books (Pash and the Blue Bicycle, Miss Camelia and the Hugelkultur Mound, Basil and the Waltz of Colours).

It was so lovely being back at The Wigtown Market yesterday! The weather was perfect and, as usual, there were so many people with dogs walking by as if it was a dog parade.

I finished this proof copy last night, after approximately 4 intense days of reading.

I have about 2 weeks to do a few small edits and send the manuscript to the printer to receive the books in time for The Wigtown Market on the 25th of April.
