This WORKS but you have to TRY... Here's what Sam did:

1. Used Claude to reimagine some business templates he had previously used

2. Put it on Gumroad using my design + copy principles

3. Wrote multiple articles on Medium (only 9 followers)

4. Posted on LinkedIn (100+ connections)

His first 2 sales came from acquaintances, and his next 2 came from total strangers (one from New Zealand!)

You have to start somewhere, and Sam is a great example of having a bias towards action and seeing results 👏

I just crossed $25k in digital product sales 🎉

My first breakthrough came when I stopped pushing $5 guides and started bundling them together for $15-20 (increased average order value!)

The next breakthrough came by creating a new product (The Gumroad Growth Guide) and being more consistent on YouTube and Medium.

Selling digital products isn’t about getting rich quickly. It’s about steadily building something useful, creating real value, testing ideas, and sharing what you learn along the way.

Over time, those small, consistent efforts can compound into a system that generates passive income in the background!

0.2% conversion - just awful.
