The founder of The Golf Oracle, Ken Mizumaki, has worked with players of all calibers, including Japan’s current #1 ranked golfer, Tatsunori Shogenji, during a key stage in his development. He also has helped a junior golfer earn a Division I scholarship to the University of California, San Diego.

Ken is the son of professional golfers Yoshi and Junko Mizumaki. In the mid-90s, his family moved to Isleworth Country Club, then home to Tiger Woods and many of the game’s greats. Growing up in that elite environment, Ken developed his game on the range while observing golf legends firsthand.

Today, he brings deep experience and insight to his teaching. His goal is simple: to help students improve rapidly and equip them with the tools to self-correct and manage their own game with confidence - the true mark of effective instruction.

The Golf Oracle

The truth is, this game is much more simple than many people work it out to be.

Unfortunately, many instructors making a living online are incentivized to get your attention and keep you trapped in a loop of content, rather than actually making you a better golfer. It leads to a massive amount of overcomplicated, misleading technical noise that destroys your natural movement.

My goal here has always been "kanso" - stripping away that noise to give you pure, refined clarity. Moving forward, I’m deciding how we handle the bad advice out there. Do we address it directly, or keep our blinders on?

The Golf Oracle

Hey everyone, the comments are blowing up for an in-depth breakdown of "The Hammer" style archetype. I hear you, and the video is officially on the schedule.

But before we unpack that, I'm dropping a two-part series starting this coming week: How to Fix Every Shot. Whether you're chunking, topping, slicing, hooking, we will clear it all out.

While I build the Hammer breakdown, here is my challenge to you: Give "The Whip" swing an honest try on the range this week.

Trust me on this one. Let the lead arm dominate, and play the long game. Let's clean up those frustrating misses first, and then we'll dive deep into both mechanics.

Stay Tuned!
