Happy Thanksgiving! Right now I am shivering in New York waiting for the Macy’s parade to start! Yesterday my mom and I went to the pre-parade balloon inflation event and got to see the parade all come together! I can’t wait to share this experience with you all in a few days!

Hi everyone & Happy Sunday! I just posted a new video and I know I’ve been absent the last two weeks and that the new video isn’t necessarily the most exciting video but that is because I have been working on the van build EVERY DAY! I officially have a roof deck and a running water system! I even brought Betty (my cat) into the van to test out all of her areas so I knew if I needed to change anything :) I have most of the kitchen built and most of the closet finished and really just need to build out the back doors, finish a few more drawers, and then do some miscellaneous small quick projects and then SHE IS DONE! (That feels euphoric to write!) I do have an official deadline (January 1st) when I will be moving into the van and be back living on the road full time and for the first time in two years I know for sure I will be able to have the van done by then. It is an INCREDIBLE feeling! I am filming everything I am doing to finish the build but instead of editing (which takes 3-4 days per video) I am just putting my head down and building to try to beat the winter weather with the intention of knowing I can edit all December long :) So I know the next few videos may not be van building or traveling and just simple and educational but I appreciate your patience because I am SO SO glad to be on the cusp of getting back to full time vanlife! And I am equally as excited to show all of you the finished product! I can finally see my vision coming to life and the van is feeling more like a complete home every day <3

I spent four wonderful days camping at the Pocono Raceway recently and it was so much cooler than I expected! I planned to make two videos originally but it was so incredible that I ended up making a different video everyday because I had so much I wanted to share with you! Don’t worry I’m not becoming a dedicated NASCAR channel, Haha! Thank you to everyone who supports my channel because we were able to get media passes for the weekend and get some exclusive CRAZY behind the scenes views! I spent the week helping my mom with a new surprise project that involves achieving her life long dream (HINT: it’s something that we talked about in a previous video a while ago…. 👀 ) I can’t wait to show all of you in a few weeks! However I was so focused on it that this week’s van build video may be a few days late :) But don’t worry it’s back to van building this week, I am trying to finish everything but the kitchen unit by the end of June so I can head out on more adventures! ☀️

An UPDATE on my Camper Van & My Channel:
At the end of December my van was towed to a shop for a starter… it took about THIRTY days for me to receive my vehicle back. When I did receive it back it still had issues on occasion starting. It still needs to go back to a shop to get the back door fixed and maybe even the starter replaced again HOWEVER at the moment that has been overshadowed by the realization my heated floor froze because I wasn’t aware I needed to add antifreeze to the system in the winter AND now my electrical system won’t even turn on after sitting at the mechanic for a month untouched.

So I appreciate everyone’s patience as my channel has some more educational sit down videos this month as that was all I have been able to make the last few weeks. I fully intend to get back to building and vlogging however that is quite literally impossible at the moment. I have been considering moving south because my vehicle is literally falling apart in the cold but ALL I REALLY WANT is to finish this build and it seems like everything is getting in the way of that.

Thank you to everyone who has been very kind about the situation and been supportive. It’s been a strange time.

I just wanted to let you know my channel isn’t changing into a sit down educational channel, I just was trying to make the most of last month without my van and I am hoping to get back to the typical routine soon. Also I have a few older van build videos from when I did the wiring and the walls that I plan on sharing soon as well :)

Also if anyone has any recommendations for how I can make my electrical system be able to be charged from an EV station, I have been researching that but am not sure which is the best solution & would love to hear your experiences? :)

VAN LIFE / VAN BUILD QUESTIONS:

So my videos are a little behind real time but my mom & I took an EPIC roadtrip through the National Parks & I am now back east and the van is empty and I’ve started building again!

I have noticed that I have been getting a lot of the same common questions in the comments of my last few videos & I wanted to make a video answering as many as possible.
I did a lot of basic, catch up, miscellaneous small projects & prep for the van build today that doesn’t really need any explanation so I thought it would be perfect to show that while answering some of your questions!

I think the number one question people want to know is why the van build takes so long? Why isn’t it built yet? A lot of you on last week’s video also wanted to know what relationships are like when living in a van? I’ve gathered a few other common comments as well. But what else do you want to know?

Also.. I realized today that I never made a video about my first break in attempt (last month)… I didn’t film anything while it was happening because I was genuinely just scared and trying to problem solve my way out of it in the moment… but that may be coming soon too….

Guess what’s getting installed next 👀

This Maxxair Fan video so far is one of my favorite most geeky, nerdy videos I have made yet… I even bought a lightsaber for it 😂 I can’t wait to share it. BUT the weather out here is SO BAD this week that I had to stop installing it because I was scared I’d fall of the roof from the wind 😅 So instead I dropped a causal educational video today & will be back to building once the weather is better.

Also I installed my electrical system this week with ‪@REDARCElectronics‬ & ‪@sandyvans‬ which was AMAZING! But we used an unreleased exciting system from RedArc so I have to wait to share it with you for a little while!

I spent the week in Hawaii 🌺🏔️

No full vlog this week because I went on a spontaneous adventure with a friend! We rented a Jeep camper in Maui & explored water falls!
