🎶Guyana Nice!🎶
(Verse 1)
From the Kaieteur Falls to the Berbice shore,
You feel the rhythm, you gon’ want some more,
In de land of six peoples, side by side,
We dance to the beat, we full of pride.
Dem coconut trees and pepper pot stew,
Callaloo bubbling, curry duck too,
Mashramani vibes all through the night,
When Guyana shine, she shining bright!
(Chorus)
Guyana nice, oh sweet paradise,
Land of many waters, sugar and spice,
Jump and wave, let the music play,
From GT to Lethem, we jammin’ all day!
Ohhh, Guyana nice!
(Verse 2)
Dem gold mines glisten, like the sun so bold,
Stories of freedom and hearts of gold,
From Stabroek Market to Rupununi plains,
You feel the soul in the sunshine and rain.
Rice fields dancing in the morning breeze,
Channa and roti, bring me some please!
We mix up strong like mauby and rum,
And when the tassa play, ya know we come!
(Chorus)
Guyana nice, oh sweet paradise,
Land of many waters, sugar and spice,
Jump and wave, let the music play,
From GT to Lethem, we jammin’ all day!
Ohhh, Guyana nice!
(Bridge)
Raise yuh flag up high, red, green and gold,
Tell the world the story, let it unfold,
One people, one nation, one destiny,
Guyana we love you endlessly!
(Final Chorus)
Guyana nice, oh sweet paradise,
We bruk out bad under starry skies,
Jump and wave, leh de riddim play,
Guyana forever — aye, aye, aye!
Ohhh, Guyana nice!

Verse 1:
In a room so quiet, I hear you breathe,
Lost in dreams, where do you go, my sweet?
Eyes wide open, yet so far away,
I wish I could follow where your thoughts stray.
Chorus:
Oh my child, won't you come back to me,
From a world where I can't see,
I long to hold you, bring you near,
Guide you through shadows, dry each tear.
Verse 2:
You wander through stars that only you can see,
Chasing whispers in a silent symphony.
I watch from afar, my heart in prayer,
Hopeful you'll find your way back here.
Chorus:
Oh my child, won't you come back to me,
From a world where I can't see,
I long to hold you, bring you near,
Guide you through shadows, dry each tear.
Bridge:
If I could walk beside you in your dreams,
I'd protect you from the silent screams.
You’re my light, my heart, my everything,
Together, my love, we'll find your wings.
Chorus:
Oh my child, won't you come back to me,
From a world where I can't see,
I long to hold you, bring you near,
Guide you through shadows, dry each tear.
Outro:
So I'll wait here, with arms open wide,
For the day you return from your hidden tide.
With love as a beacon, I’ll light your way,
Until you find your place and choose to stay.

(Verse 1)
Wake up early, greet the sun,
Put your boots on, the day’s begun.
With sweat and strength, he paves the way,
In every task, no work’s too gray.
(Chorus)
In the arms of a working man,
Dreams are built with calloused hands.
For his children, he stands tall,
Love’s the greatest gift of all.
(Verse 2)
Through the fields or factory floor,
Every hour, he's giving more.
With steady heart, he makes things right,
Guided by the stars at night.
(Chorus)
In the arms of a working man,
Dreams are built with calloused hands.
For his children, he stands tall,
Love’s the greatest gift of all.
(Bridge)
Stories told by the fireside,
Lessons learned, and smiles wide.
Though the world may turn and change,
His heart’s steadfast, never strange.
(Outro)
So here’s to you, dear working soul,
With every day, you make us whole.
In your footsteps, we will follow,
With love and hope, through each tomorrow.

Verse 1:
Underneath the faded streetlights,
With a suitcase filled with dreams,
Leaves his home in the quiet night,
For a life that’s yet unseen.
Chorus:
Oh, lonely soul, chasing distant skies,
Leaving all you’ve known behind.
For a chance to find where your future lies,
In a world you hope is kind.
Verse 2:
Whispered farewells in the morning mist,
Memories packed up tight.
Crossing borders with a hopeful list,
Of wishes to take flight.
Chorus:
Oh, lonely soul, chasing distant skies,
Leaving all you’ve known behind.
For a chance to find where your future lies,
In a world you hope is kind.
Bridge:
Through the long and winding roads,
And the cities filled with strangers,
He carries a heart that overflows,
With dreams to face the dangers.
Verse 3:
The sun sets on a new horizon,
As he walks towards his fate.
With every step, he is realizing,
A life he has to create.
Chorus:
Oh, lonely soul, chasing distant skies,
Leaving all you’ve known behind.
For a chance to find where your future lies,
In a world you hope is kind.
Outro:
May the winds guide you safely there,
To the dreams that you pursue.
For a lonely soul in this vast world,
May the stars shine down on you.

Here's a song script about a broken heart:
Verse 1:
I gave you my all, every piece of my soul,
But you walked away, left me all alone.
Memories haunt me, whisper in the night,
The love we had now just out of sight.
Chorus:
Broken heart, shattered dreams,
I'm lost in the echoes of what used to be.
The pain lingers on, won't let me be,
Caught in the shadows of my misery.
Verse 2:
Tears fall like rain, washing away the past,
But the scars remain, memories that last.
I search for reasons, try to understand,
Why you let go of my hand.
Chorus:
Broken heart, shattered dreams,
I'm lost in the echoes of what used to be.
The pain lingers on, won't let me be,
Caught in the shadows of my misery.
Bridge:
Time will heal, that's what they say,
But the ache in my chest won't fade away.
I'll find my strength, learn how to mend,
But this broken heart may never fully bend.
Chorus:
Broken heart, shattered dreams,
I'm lost in the echoes of what used to be.
The pain lingers on, won't let me be,
Caught in the shadows of my misery.
Outro:
One day I'll rise, from the ashes of despair,
But for now, my heart's too broken to repair.

In the year 1990, I embarked on my very first airplane journey with BWIA, a thrilling experience that would take me from the sun-kissed, tropical paradise I called home to the bustling metropolis of New York City, right in the heart of winter.
Excitement bubbled within me as I boarded the airplane, a wide grin stretching across my face as I imagined the adventures that awaited in the land of skyscrapers and endless horizons. However, little did I know the unexpected chill that awaited inside the cabin.
As we soared into the skies, leaving behind the familiar warmth of my island, I soon realized that the air conditioning in the airplane was set to a temperature that could rival the wintry landscape of my destination. The cold air seeped into my bones, and I found myself shivering in my light tropical attire.
I glanced around the cabin, observing fellow passengers who seemed better prepared, wrapped snugly in sweaters and sweatshirts. My oversight became glaringly evident—it hadn't occurred to me that the climate inside the plane would mimic the frigid temperatures outside.
Despite the chill, excitement coursed through my veins, keeping my spirits high as I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to conserve warmth. I tried to focus on the novelty of the airplane experience: the thrill of takeoff, the captivating view of endless clouds and the tiny world far below, and the anticipation of touching down in a new city.
With each passing hour, my initial discomfort was replaced by the warmth of new friendships formed with the passengers seated nearby. We shared stories and laughs, turning the chilly cabin into a cozy atmosphere filled with camaraderie and shared excitement.
As the plane began its descent into New York, the city emerged through the window, a sprawling spectacle of lights and movement. My heart raced with anticipation despite the persistent chill, ready to embrace the new adventures that awaited in the vibrant city.
Upon landing, bundled in borrowed warmth from my newfound friends, I stepped into the snow-dusted streets of New York, the cold now a mere backdrop to the thrill of the unknown. In that moment, I knew that despite the unexpected chill of my first flight, the warmth of adventure and connection would guide me through many more journeys to come.

Once upon a time in the heart of Minnesota, long before the bustling cityscape of Minneapolis emerged, the serene beauty of Minnehaha Falls captivated all who wandered through the lush forests and meandering trails. The falls, named after the Dakota Sioux term for "laughing waters," stood as a sacred site for the indigenous people who lived on the land for centuries.
The story of Minnehaha Falls is intertwined with the life of a young Dakota woman named Winona. She was known for her gentle spirit and an unwavering connection to the world around her. Raised in a nearby village, Winona often sought solace at the falls, where the mist kissed her cheeks, and the rhythmic cascade of water echoed ancient songs of her ancestors.
One day, as Winona sat by the falls, she encountered a young explorer named John Stevens, one of the early settlers in the region. Though coming from different worlds, the two formed a unique friendship built upon mutual respect and curiosity. They shared stories of their cultures and taught each other about the wonders of nature and the stars.
As seasons passed, their bond deepened into a love that defied the boundaries of their distinct worlds. However, the arrival of more settlers brought tension and change, threatening the harmonious life of the native people. Winona, torn between her love for John and her duty to her people, found herself at a crossroads.
In the end, Winona chose to protect her community's way of life. She bid farewell to John at the falls, promising that the laughter of the waters would always carry her love and memory. Heartbroken yet understanding, John devoted himself to preserving the natural beauty of Minnehaha Falls, ensuring that it remained a sanctuary for all.
Today, Minnehaha Falls stands as a tribute to Winona’s strength and the enduring spirit of the Dakota people. Visitors from around the world come to marvel at its beauty, unaware of the timeless love story etched into its waters. The falls continue to laugh, whispering tales of a time when the past met the future in an eternal dance of nature and love. #youtubeshorts #trending
