Hello, I’m Lindsey, and I’m so glad you've found my corner of the Youtubes. I live in a small Edwardian terrace in Suffolk, England. This is a peaceful space for a gentle, creative, and mindful life.
Hopes for 2026
I live with chronic illness and fatigue, so my motto is "Progress over Perfection." My goal this year is to build deeper connections with you. I move at a slow pace, and I hope this channel gives you permission to slow down and be kind to yourself, too.
What to Expect:
Sustainable Craft: Junk Journaling, upcycling, and slow stitching.
At Home: Simple "POV" videos of me tidying my home and painting furniture. These will develop gently over the year.
Mindful Moments: Guided meditations with minimal ads to protect your peace.
Local Community: I co-run "Craft in Company" locally in Suffolk and love bringing that friendly spirit here.
Support & Community:

Hello everyone 🤗
I've got problems with yesterday's video. 🥴The sound isn't working and it appears to be the wrong way around. 🙄 I've taken it down and will put out a short with a bit more detail than the picture here. Let me know if you're interested in me adding a similar video to my list for later in the year...think I could the same ish thing with dare I say a Christmas twist. 😉
Remember we do things, give ourselves permission to get things wrong, learn from it and move on. Progression over perfection.
Love and appreciate you all

Whether you love junk journals, mindful crafting, or making beautiful things from everyday scraps, this challenge is for you.
🌸 A Moment of Self-Care
We want this month to be a gentle space for self-care. There is absolutely no pressure to be perfect or to finish every single page, every single day. This challenge is all about discovery, playing with scraps, and enjoying the process—not about stress!
To help us unwind, I will also be sharing short guided meditations at the end of some of my videos. It is the perfect chance to take a deep breath and relax.
🎨 Grab Your Challenge Kit!
Sandra is our official digital artist for the challenge, and she has created a beautiful kit to get us started. It is available right now on her Ko-fi page!
ko-fi.com/beehappystationery/shop
Inside the kit, you will find:
Daily prompts to spark your creativity.
An inspiration guide to help you reflect and interpret the prompts to create art that is unique to you.
Three lovely snippet sheets to cut out and add to your pages.
📺 What to Expect in July
I will be sharing a new video every single day throughout July! I’ll be crafting in my usual colourful, vintage style, using lots of sustainable everyday junk alongside two gorgeous kits from Bee Happy Stationery.
Here is how you can get involved and follow along:
Before July: Watch out for my upcoming videos where I’ll show you how I make my journal from scratch and prep my kit.
Guest Creators: We have some wonderful creators joining us throughout the month. Keep an eye out for our daily recommendations!
Playlists: We will have two YouTube playlists. One for the official guest videos, and an open playlist where **anyone** can add their own videos to share their pages.
✨ Join the Fun
Check out the kit attached to this post and head over to Sandra's Ko-fi to grab it for free and have a browse for your papers. Then shop your stash to make a kit that's unique to you and let’s get ready for a wonderful, relaxing month of sustainable crafting.
No printer? No problem! Just make a note of the days from this prompt and still join in with your own supplies!
Are you joining us? Let me know in the comments below! 👇
Also would you like for us to have a live at the end of the month to do a flip through and a chat about the challenge? I will be on annual leave at the end of the month so won't mind staying up to chat to you all!
Look forward to crafting with you!

LOW‑SPEND SUMMER 2026
I started a frugal February challenge this earlier year and would like to build on it. So, I’m starting a Low‑Spend Summer — not to deny myself, but to *free myself* from the idea that I need more supplies to be creative.
Back in 2020, during that uncertain time, I challenged myself to use what I already had… and that’s when I discovered junk journaling. It completely changed my creative life. I’ve always slow stitched and loved giving new life to things others would throw away, and junk journaling gave me the perfect way to express myself.
Since moving into my current house over 5 years ago, I’ve intentionally built up my supplies — almost like stocking my own little craft shop filled with things I love. And honestly… I have plenty. More than plenty.
So, this summer, I’m choosing to shop the craft store in my own home.
✨ My intentions:
• Use what I already own
• Limit spending on vintage treasures
• Celebrate scraps, leftovers, and forgotten materials
• Trust my creativity instead of my shopping habits
• Lean into slow stitching + junk journaling as grounding practices
This isn’t about going without. It’s about recognising the abundance I already have and creating from that place.
If you want to join me in your own way, you’re so welcome here.
Let’s make this a gentle, abundant, low‑spend summer together 🌸
I'd love to know what you think.
Love Lindsey

A lovely afternoon of treasure hunting! 🌿
I had such a lovely time with some gentle antiquing in Ely with my husband today. My basket was absolutely overflowing before I even got to the checkout!
I managed to find some beautiful bits for my journals and stitching, including:
* Scraps of vintage French fabric.
* Pretty French lace still on its original card.
* Old book pages from way back in the 1760s.
* A stuffed Harrods biscuit tin packed with mystery stamps and papers.
* An ephemera pack made up with bits from old scrap books.
I have no idea exactly what is inside that tin or the packet yet, but it feels like a real prize! I had a blast looking around and I can’t wait to film a full video to show you every single piece in detail.
I’d love to hear from you—have you found any vintage treasures lately? Or is there a favourite shop you love to visit?
Let me know in the comments! 👇

Hello everyone!
I have been away for a little while, but I am now looking forward to getting back to the channel.
Over the next week or so, I will be posting some videos that I filmed back in February. I also have some new "haul" videos to share and some simple, easy craft projects as we look towards Easter.
I am planning to get back to our mindful and sustainable making very soon. I have really missed you all and I am so looking forward to being back with you.
Thought you'd enjoy my daffs and ivy from the garden!
See you in the comments soon!

Hi everyone,
I just want to let you know that I will be taking a short break for the rest of this month. I have a personal matter to deal with that needs my full attention right now.
I am sorry for the pause in videos, but I hope to be back and posting again in March.
Thank you for all your support and for understanding. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Ready for Frugal February? ✂️🌿
As we finish Junk Journal January, I’m getting ready for a new challenge: Frugal February. My goal this month is to spend as little as possible and instead "take stock" of the wonderful things I already have in my supplies at home.
I’m starting the month by showing you a messy craft room tour! It’s important to see what I’m actually working with before I start organising.
What’s coming up this month:
Recycling Bin Upcycles: Turning everyday rubbish/trash into vintage-style storage.
Scrap Stitching: Creating love-themed projects using only my fabric scraps.
Frugal Hauls: Showing you my simple, low-cost finds.
Organising: Sorting through my stash to find hidden treasures.
This month is all about all round sustainability "Progress over Perfection." I want to show that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to be creative or have a tidy, beautiful space.
I've filmed a few of the videos and thought I'd highlight them in this post, the Messy room tour is my first video and the others will be sprinkled through the month.
Are you joining me for a low-spend month? I’d love to hear your frugal tips in the comments! 👇

Better late than never, guided meditations will be returning to The Vintage Button. I tried recording this evening and ran into several problems 😔. As the prompts I'm covering are going to be home, rest and envelope I decided to rest and pick up the video tomorrow. So, there will be a page tour a chat about my recent energy levels and a meditation about listening to the wisdom of nature and resting!
