From bold ideas to real-world impact, Mobiddiction transforms technology into experiences people love, where creativity meets capability - showcasing award-winning digital programs, immersive VR, AR, Drones, Custom maps & AI-driven solutions for Government, Enterprise, and beyond.

For us, innovation isn’t just about what’s possible — it’s about making it real, one breakthrough at a time.

Mobiddiction

We have been experimenting a lot of the MetaQuest 3 and MetaQuest 3S to see how we can best use the "hand tracking" feature without the complication of having to use controllers.

Some of the user challenges we are having is that the use of controllers is great for a specific audience such as gamers, tech savvy early adopters etc but not exactly when it comes to first time users or specially for us as we have a platform PatientVR.com which is all about the use of Virtual Reality VR within a healthcare setting.

We will post videos and hopefully share some of our work in progress videos here with some of our thoughts and comments.

Let us know what you like to see as we experiment VR at Mobiddiction.

Mobiddiction

We've created an amazing VR experience as part of our PatientVR suite of virtual reality experiences. This one is specially aimed at use in Emergency Departments, Pre and Post Operative waiting areas where patients are already dealing with pain and stress and having to wait, in some cases for several hours only leads to more stress and anxiety.

The features on this app include:
- Works on MetaQuest
- Easy to set up and use
- No internet required
- No patient data capture

The core feature of this application also allows users to only use one hand, both hands with limited movements or in some cases no movement (for example managing IV, blood sampling or when monitors are attached). There are certain which can be used sitting down on a chair, wheel chair or even lying down with no hand movements.

PatientVR is in use in Australian hospitals. This Virtual Reality application is built by the team at Mobiddiction Australia.
