Lately I’ve been finding joy in the simplest things…
Planting collards on my balcony.
Watching them grow.
Harvesting them with my own hands.
Then turning them into a meal that feeds both my body and my spirit.
There’s something deeply healing about slowing down enough to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Years ago I thought happiness had to be loud and dramatic.
Now I know it can look like fresh greens, ocean air, and a homemade buffalo chicken salad made from something you grew yourself.
This season of life is teaching me that peace often lives in simple things.
