Kelly’s Concert Memories

This was a cool week that ran the generational gamut! Friday I saw 18-year old Ty Myers who is a little country, a little John Mayer, a little bit Rock and Soul. He came out to “play that Funky Music, white boy” not the usual country open but also covered Always on My Mind. Older than his years, for sure. On Tuesday I saw Devon Allman (gen x like me) with his Blues Summit which was awesome and so soulful. He also reached back to some of his dad’s classics from the 70s, which were fantastic . And his opener GA-20 plays Chicago Blues! A great new discovery. And I wrapped it up tonight with 86 (soon to be 87) year old Dion from the street corners of the Bronx, who is still a teenager in his heart and sounds great (and it was all live vocals as compared to Frankie Valli). Happy New Year everyone. I just wanted to invite you all to check out a new playlist I put together of all cover songs! I’ll be adding to it as well. I uploaded some videos from Bryan Adams at MSG 10/30/2025 - one caveat, I heard that he uses a service to seek out and block videos and do copyright strikes so I didn’t go all out with camera videos I just took a few videos on my phone and posted shorts. I’m hoping to bring my camera for the next concert I go to 👀 which is an artist I’ve never seen before who is definitely in the legend category 🤫 UPDATE: they started hitting me with copyright strikes over my crappy phone video shorts so I pulled all of the videos 😬

This should be interesting! I’m trying to see how many genres I can squeeze into one week ! 🤣 but they told me “she does t like cameras” so I have to rely on my phone.
