Here one of our four young soloists, Daniella Arnold, presents Massenet’s Méditation from Thaïs, one of the great encore pieces. Originally an intermezzo, it portrays the title character’s moment of spiritual reflection, featuring soaring, lyrical lines full of emotional depth.
