I did the banding method with scrunches from day 1-3, while still protecting with a satin bonnet. Day 4-7 Iβve been sleeping with just a bonnet on. No scrunchies. π€π½

I took out the flat twists in the front because they were already unraveling and messing up the hairstyle.
Itβs day 5 already.
To match the little bit of definition at the back, I did two-strand twists in the front and unraveled them. Now the definition is more uniform.
From day 3, I stopped using the banding method and just slept with a satin bonnet over my hair. I actually love how shrunken my hair is now. All I do is fluff it before heading out.
If you want to maintain some stretch, the banding method definitely helps. But doing that every day is exhausting lol.
I took pictures from day 1 to day 5, and Iβll post them later.
Iβm trying to balance between a loose low maintenance hairstyle that I can wear for a week and a low maintenance protective hairstyle I can wear for at least two weeks.

I was supposed to wash my hair, but I did Bantu knots instead (with no products), and they came out so good. Iβm pretty sure that if I had done this style intentionally, the results wouldβve been completely different. π
