I’m Chibs Okereke, and I create sleep meditations and sleep hypnosis to help you unwind, switch off, and drift into deep rest.

Sleep is foundational to everything, mental health, emotional regulation, focus, and resilience, yet around 1 in 3 adults don’t get enough sleep, leaving their nervous systems stuck in overdrive.

My meditations have helped millions find better sleep, less anxiety, and more peace. I’m a meditation instructor on the Calm app, an accredited mindfulness facilitator, and a certified clinical hypnotherapist.

I started making these because I’ve been there myself: anxiety, stress, insomnia, nervous system dysregulation, burnout. I know what it’s like when your mind won’t stop and your body won’t let you rest.

My goal is simple: to help you feel supported, safe, and settled enough to sleep.

For a long time, I’ve been helping people sleep.

Through meditations, hypnosis, and nervous system work… I’ve seen just how powerful this space can be.

But over time, I realised something.

Sleep is just one moment.

What happens before sleep… during the day… in those real-life moments where your mind is racing, your body is tense, or your thoughts won’t slow down… matters just as much.

So behind the scenes, I’ve been building something new.

Today, I’m really excited to share it with you.

It’s called Co-Lab FM.

This is a collaboration between myself and Aaron Bannie — a UK-born, Miami-based producer (one half of electronic duo Night Tales).

I focus on the psychological side… breath pacing, nervous system regulation, and hypnotherapy principles.

Aaron composes original music and soundscapes… designed to support that work on a deeper, tonal level.

Together, we’re creating what we call Functional Meditation.

Sessions designed for real life.

Not just for sleep… but for the moments you actually need support:

• when anxiety hits
• when you can’t stop overthinking
• when you need to focus
• when you need to reset
• when you just want to feel calm again

Some sessions will feel like traditional meditations.
Others will feel more like a calm, grounding conversation.

Every parent knows the guilt. The deadline hits, you're running on empty, and the TV becomes the babysitter for twenty minutes so you can breathe. I lived in that guilt for years with Ziggy. You want to be present, you want to do the 'right' thing, but sometimes life is loud and stressful and you just can't be everywhere at once.

I wish I'd had what my mate Jay has just built.

It's called Jay Every Day, a kids fitness show on YouTube for children aged 3 to 7. Jay is on a mission to turn screen time into movement time. The show gets kids moving and helps them build healthy habits and a positive relationship with exercise from a young age. The clever bit is that the kids are exercising the whole time without even realising it. They're up, dancing, jumping, playing along and literally turning passive watching into active play.

Based on your feedback, here is the Perimenopause and Menopause Sleep Meditation, and I feel that we truly co-created this one, because I took all of your comments and did my best to incorporate as much as I could. One big difference to my usual meditations, is that this meditation is designed to bring about a bit of coolness (rather than the usual warm feelings), so there is plenty of cooling imagery in this one.

This is for those moments when you wake up and your system feels switched on again.

We don’t try to force sleep… we gently help the body cool… the breath slow… and the nervous system come out of that alert state.
