Hi friends! We’re alive and well! We haven’t been posting the last couple of weeks because our camera took a hard hit… once we get the camera back, we’ll be back to our normal posting schedule! We’ll see you soon!!
We haven’t posted in two weeks… but that’s because we have some very exciting things happening! We will be back to our regularly scheduled Sunday episodes, starting next week(we truly can’t wait to share some of our adventures and life updates)!
We just posted one of my(Cody) favorite videos! I absolutely love anything that gets the adrenaline pumping, and in this video we tried everything in northern Utah that would do just that! We hope you check it out!
Well… no video from us today! We worked really hard on putting together a video about the 66 Polaroids we captured in Route 66 but after watching it late last night, we both agreed it wasn’t what we wanted to upload. After uploading 18 videos in the last three months including last week’s hour and a half long video… we are feeling pretty burnt out. We’ve decided to take 2-3 Sundays off and then come back strong! We’re heading to the Grand Canyon in the next couple of days(which we can’t film anyways because of National Park film permits) so we’re going to recharge and enjoy that big hole in the ground! We will post some updates along the way but we will see you in a few weeks with a new video!
No video from us today… ☹️ We gave it our all but just couldn’t get the video done in time! We have a one hour and 20 minute video all edited, we just need more time to let it upload!! So, we will be premiering it tomorrow at our usual time (5pm est)! So excited to share this film with you all, we may be biased - but it’s our favorite!
We need your help!! We have officially left California and started our multi-day Route 66 road trip! We thought the whole trip would take us three days to go from Santa Monica to Flagstaff, AZ... we are on day 5 and we're just over halfway! We've been filming every day and want to create one long video. Since we haven't finished the road trip yet, the video won't be ready for our upload this Sunday.
Instead, we want to do a sit-down-style Q&A video. This is where we need your help! What questions do you have for us after being on the road since September? No questions are off limits, these can be travel-related, destination, van questions, financials, questions for Cliff, etc. We look forward to answering the questions in our video on Sunday!!
Hi YouTube friends! Today is Wednesday which usually means it’s time for a new video… but as you may have noticed, no upload from us today. We’ve decided to change up our strategy and go for one long form video a week(posting on Sundays) for a few reasons. We were starting to create videos to keep up with our posting schedule, instead of creating videos that we are proud of. It was also starting to feel more like work than it was fun, we were spending two days shooting and at least two days of editing so it was really eating into our exploring time. We spend about 1 hour editing for every minute of produced video - so at two videos a week we were spending nearly 40 hours staring at our computer! We’re going to be posting a lot of shorts to try and take advantage of the reach those videos are getting on the platform and to give more real time updates from our year long road trip adventure! Anyways! We’re enjoying the day in Malibu, California at Leo Carillo Beach, right across the street from our campground! It’s sunny and 75 and we are loving this spot! Hope we can send some of this beautiful weather to wherever you are in the world!
We missed our 10AM upload time but we just got our longest YouTube video ever uploaded! Come hang out with us for 27 minutes as we attempt to the travel the FULL Blue Ridge Parkway!
