💥 The Root Cause of Golfer’s Elbow in Traditional Swings

Golfer’s elbow—medically known as medial epicondylitis—is caused by chronic overuse and strain of the forearm flexor tendons near the inner elbow. In most traditional golf swings, especially among amateurs, there are several harmful patterns that contribute to this condition:

Overusing the arms to “pull” the club instead of engaging the body.
Early release (casting) which abruptly loads the forearm at impact.
Steep swing path leading to frequent “fat shots” or striking the ground first.
Lack of body rotation or blocked motion, causing the forearm to compensate.

Over time, these movements accumulate micro-tears in the tendons, resulting in pain, inflammation, and weakness— especially during wrist flexion or gripping.

✅ How Push Swing Prevents Golfer’s Elbow at the Source
1. Power Comes from the Back Shoulder, Not the Forearm
Push Swing is designed to engage the large back-side muscles, especially the rear shoulder, to push the club forward—not pull it. This completely removes the need for aggressive wrist or forearm activation.

🔹 Result: Less tension on the inner elbow, reduced risk of overuse injuries.

2. Front Shoulder Drop Drives Natural Forward Lean
Instead of forcing wrist hinge or shaft lean, Push Swing uses a simple front shoulder drop to shift weight forward and create optimal contact angles. The hands stay relaxed and quiet.

🔹 Result: Lower impact shock and smoother energy transfer through the arms.

3. Front Foot Spins Out, Back Foot Moves Forward
Push Swing teaches the body to rotate freely by spinning out the front foot and stepping forward with the back foot. This motion eliminates the abrupt stopping and twisting seen in many traditional swings.

🔹 Result: No sudden braking force travels up to the elbow or wrist.

4. Flat, Forgiving Swing Path Reduces Mishits
By guiding the club low, level, and forward, Push Swing naturally avoids steep angles and ground strikes, which are common triggers for golfer’s elbow.

🔹 Result: Fewer impact shocks, better consistency, safer repetition.

🩺 Push Swing Can Help With Healing Too
For players already experiencing early-stage golfer’s elbow:

The push-driven motion allows small muscles to rest and recover.
Larger muscle groups handle the power, reducing strain on injured areas.
Consistent, low-impact ball striking prevents further damage.

🎯 Summary Tagline
“Push Swing protects your elbow by powering the club with your body, not your arm. It’s longer, straighter, and safer—swing after swing.”

Most “senior-friendly” swing methods are just watered-down versions of elite techniques.

But the truth is:
Real innovation might only come from an outsider.
Someone with no loyalty to tradition—just a desperate need to fix what’s broken.

I’m not a pro. I was bedridden for 10 months.
I built Push Swing not to win tournaments—but to heal my body and move without pain.

That’s why I understand what most instructors don’t:
What it feels like to be left behind by the golf world.

This isn’t a modified elite swing.
This is a different system—
Backed by physics. Powered by pain.
And built for people like us.

📣 What is Push Swing?
Push Swing is an alternative swing system—created for the golfers who’ve been left behind.

Who are they?

They’re the seniors who aren't as flexible as they used to be.
The struggling golfers who work hard but feel stuck year after year.
The injured golfers whose bodies can’t handle the traditional swing anymore.
And the ones who are ready to quit—frustrated, discouraged, and no longer enjoying the game.

Push Swing isn’t here to compete with professional swing methods. We respect them.
We’re not trying to replace the pros—we’re here to serve everyone else.

Our mission is simple:
To make the game more enjoyable for more people.
By helping left-behind golfers learn faster, swing easier, and fix their own problems—without needing a coach by their side.

If that sounds like you—or someone you know—Push Swing is here to help.

Let’s bring the joy back to golf. 🏌️‍♂️
Let’s make the game fun again.

I’m back to my single digit handicap challenge after 6 months back pain suffering. With my ASFA golf system, my handicap is 10 yesterday without much practice because my back is still in light pain.
