Old school, raw, demonic, straight to the point. That's how Nunslaughter still delivers some good Old School Death Metal with some Thrash Metal ripping velocity. Not much to talk about, just keep moshing with this one.
A few days ago, I was looking out on internet to find some really good Crust Punk bands out there, and looking in some random Tierlists, I saw a lot of people mentioning this album called "Vengeance" by a band called Tragedy. Most of the people were saying that this album is a masterpiece. They aren't wrong. A modern sounding Crust Punk, with some doses of Sludge and Thrash Metal, making it sound Dark and Melodic with the traditional fast-paced crust drumming. You can actually think that going melodic kinda destroys some bands and albums, but that's not what happens with Tragedy, besides, they get some really interesting songs from start to end. I'll put this one on my "Albums to Listen to Before You Die" list.
Favorite songs: Call To Arms, Beginning of the End, The Lure, The Day After.
After listening a lot the first ones from Prostitute Disfigurement, I decided to move on and listen to their other albums. "Descendants Of Depravity" is PD's fourth album and I was not expecting this. The band just decided to leave their traditional brutal death sound and went more polished on this one. The deep ogrish growls from the previous recordings are absent, now just sounding like generic Death Metal vocals. No fast brutal chugging, and the songs sound pretty much like each other. They got more technical for sure, but here they are just a generic version of Belphegor without the Black Metal riffs. Average album, I will pass this one.
