Not because I don’t love creating—but because I want to come back better. Balancing work, motherhood, and YouTube has been a lot lately, and I’ve realized I need some time to reset, rest, and refocus.

During this time, I’ll be:
✨ Batch filming new content
✨ Rethinking my videos + series
✨ Finishing some long overdue projects
✨ And honestly… just resting a bit

I’m really excited about what I’m working on behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share it with you soon 👀

Fabric: Burgundy (or Garnet for my January birthstone babes ❤️) stretch velvet from Hobby Lobby — $6.99/yd and it sewed like an absolute dream.

Shoutout to Hubby! He’s a whiz behind the lens! 📸

This is the first time I’ve ever made something for my birthday and my first official sewing make of 2026 🪡 🧵

🧵 Weekend Sewing Marathon Sneak Peek!
I’ve been knee-deep in my weekend sewing and wanted to share a little preview of what’s on my machine — a two-piece knit coordinate made with this stunning chevron knit I picked up from Wherehouse Fabrics in Dallas, TX! ✈️

I’m hoping this turns into an all-season make depending on how I style it — and honestly, sewing with this knit hasn’t been too bad at all! Just a few more seams to go before it’s complete. 🙌🏾

This memade duo has officially become my go-to wedding guest staple! 💃🏾✨

Last weekend, the hubs and I celebrated a dear friend’s wedding and had the most beautiful time. I brought out two of my favorite makes: S3108 in a stunning green floral brocade and V9278 — a chic A-line dress in coral charmeuse — styled with gold strappy sandals for that extra sparkle.

Here’s to the gorgeous couple, and here’s to showing up in garments made with our own two hands. 🥂👗
