A message to this community:
When I uploaded my first surgical video years ago, I had no strategy and no plan. I simply thought: if I can show the technique as it really is — unedited, no shortcuts — maybe it will help someone learn.
I never imagined what would follow. Over 400 urologists from more than 60 countries have visited our programme to train in HoLEP. Many of you have told me that these videos helped you through your learning curve, helped you solve a difficult case, or gave you the confidence to start offering enucleation to your patients. That means more to me than any publication or award.
I want to be honest: I don't always find the time to create new content. Surgery, training, and clinical work come first — and I know you understand that better than anyone.
But I've decided to expand this channel. Alongside the surgical videos you know, I'll be publishing a new series aimed at patients in different languages — explaining prostate conditions, medications, and surgery in plain language. I believe patients deserve the same honesty we share among colleagues.
The surgical content isn't going anywhere. And I'd love to hear from you: what topics would be most useful for you? What cases give you trouble? Let me know in the comments.
Thank you for being part of this journey. It has been — and continues to be — extraordinary.
