for all you producers out there

I put together 50 amen break inspired drum loops

all loops are in different production styles:
some recorded with real drums
some are synthesized
some are from classic drum machines
and some built with custom drum kits

ALL LOOPS ARE 136BPM WAV 24BIT 48kHz

p.s.
- i’ve kept the original dynamics in one folder, some loops are louder and others quieter to avoid that overproduced, squashed sound
- the other folder has the same loops but processed with eq, saturation, and compression

p.p.s.
the whole pack is under creative commons,
feel free to use them however you want - remix, combine, monetize.

CC AMEN BREAK LOOP LIBRARY

for a long time now i’ve been thinking about building a community free to use (cc) amen breaks library.
to get things started, i followed the gregory coleman amen break tutorial on youtube and created a midi version of it.
you can download the midi file here

then use it to make your own signature amen break.
load it into a drum machine, play it on real drums, or finger drum it on an mpc - whatever works for you.
if you have you favorite drum sounds in addictive drums or ezdrummer - just put a midi in your daw and export your best amen break variation.

if you’d like to contribute your own amen breaks to the library, you’re more than welcome. the more people add, the better it gets for everyone.

midi is just an example - you don’t have to use kick drum ride snare and crash only - whatever sounds the best.
you can use hats instead of ride
or claps instead of snare
it can be mechanical with zero dynamic
or very human like where every kick is like a heartbeat

rules are simple:

• no copyrighted material (original creations or fully cleared samples only)
• no peaks (keep it clean, no clipping or distortion)
• do not use a limiter or clipper on the final export
• 136 bpm
• wav format

when your loop is ready just put it here in the comment section via dropbox or google drive or whatever you use

im sharing the blender file for this chase scene from "a song to rage quit to" from hard drive album.
it’s a pretty simple setup with two vehicles and viewport set to normal pass only
I used blender 4.3 and formula one and air vehicle sketchfab models.

a year ago, i collaborated with ‪@SpaceLionStudios‬ to create A Song Made Of Liquid, which was featured on Axyz soundtrack.

since this is one of the most popular releases from the Magnetic Core album, I am sharing the Ableton project and stems for those who use other daws. It is my signature sound - the song is simple, containing my most-used synths from korg and cakewalk.
