I even got in trouble quite a bit for talking during reading time because I would finish so much quicker than my friends and then want to talk to them!
I read all types of books. Whatever interests me in the moment is what I'll pick up. My go-to genres though are historical fiction and middle grade fiction. Hello friends. I haven't posted a video in almost a week and mostly that's because I've been dealing with an annoying cold/allergies. But then I realized most of my video ideas would work better for December when I'll be posting a video every day until Christmas (hopefully). So I've decided to do something I've never officially done on my channel in the nine years I've been filming. I'm taking a mini-break. I don't plan on posting anything until December 1. But then you'll get your fill as I aim to post a ton next month. This will allow my body to completely get rid of this cold and allow me to enjoy a few days with my mom for Thanksgiving without the need to film or edit anything. I will still have the final live for Prayer on Sunday afternoon and may do a Live reading sprint night at some point. I may also post here in the community tab a couple times, but no videos until Dec 1. If you have any favorite Vlogmas/Bookmas/End of year videos you love to watch on booktube please let me know! I have some plans, but am always open for more ideas. I hope you are doing well and reading a great book. Much love. ❤️

Switching it up...
It's almost time for my 4th quarter Christian non-fiction readalong. I had two different books picked at the beginning of the year that I thought would be good options for us to read together, but after a few months, prayer, and thinking a lot about it neither of those felt like the ones to read right now. SO here's a new choice before you. Which of these do you think you'd like to read in November. Prayer by Richard Foster or Disappointment with God by Philip Yancey? Vote in the comments below. I will also have a poll in my IG stories. I will keep the options open until the 15th.

I just spent a few minutes checking out the schedule for the 25th National Book Festival in Washington DC this coming Saturday, Sept 6. It's free! There are loads of authors going to be there. I'm excited to see Fiona Davis, Liz Moore, Chris Whittaker, Katherine Applegate, Kwame Alexander, John Green, and probably others too. Is anyone planning on attending? We should try to meet up!
