Welcome to Noah's Archive.
I am Noah Jung- an actor, voice actor, writer, aspiring filmmaker, and more!

In case it isn't obvious, I am passionate about many forms of creative and artistic expression, with a particular fondness for musical theatre and anime.

When I am not busy pursuing my goals and dreams related to acting/voice acting/theatre/musical theatre/filmmaking/writing, I will be uploading videos here. Typically they will be reviews or analytical videos going over media I enjoy, but an occasional piece of original content or stuff relating to whatever projects I become involved in my appear from time to time as well

Whatever strange twist of fate brought you to my channel, I hope you find something you like- and please feel free to subscribe if you want to see what else I create and upload!

"Nobody knows the future. That's why an infinite number of possibilities exists. This is the Steins Gate's choice."

"El Psy Kongroo."

The planned Science Adventure Marathon series may unfortunately remain unfinished, but that doesn't mean Steins;Gate isn't still one of my favorites pieces of storytelling that's served as a huge source of inspiration for me in life. Which is why I'm so thrilled to pay tribute to it with this new AMAZING tattoo by Cat Labelle at F.I.N.A.O. Ink Tattoo Company!!

This isn't an announcement of a video or anything- I just figured some of my audience would appreciate this tattoo. And if you haven't read or watched Steins;Gate, go do so! It's amazing.

So I will make a longer/more detailed post when the musical I am currently in wraps up (end of May)- but I might as well give a heads up since it's been at least a month of radio silence.
I think the era of hour-long video essays/reviews and planned multi-part video series is over for this channel. And I feel bad because I started a lot of stuff that I probably won't see through because I got too ambitious/trigger-happy in trying to do EVERYTHING at once, but I think this is something I need to do.

These past few months throughout rehearsals for the show I'm in has helped me remeber how passionate I am about acting and musical theatre. I was in a bit of a slump before, and while I have made a lot of progress/done a lot of cool things (at least...I hope cool things)- I can't help but think how much more progress I could have made in my acting skills, voice-over pursuits, or singing capabilities if I made THAT my full commitment: not trying to split all that between writing YouTube videos AND working AND having a social life. And I know that sounds crazy because I already don't upload THAT often- but I'm slow/methodical, ok?!

I'm not gonna go away completely because I DO love yapping about/analyzing/reviewing stuff- but I think it will be more modest-length videos that I write whenever inspiration strikes me and I can reasonably accommodate it. And who knows maybe that will make my content better because did the Hazbin ranking video really NEED to be three hours long? hmmmmm

But there's still some long-ish stuff coming. I have a Scott Pilgrim video in the editing phase that I don't know how long it'll be but if I had to guess: it will be close to an hour. And I have two unfinished scripts that I don't wanna abandon because I am proud of the writing that is in there so those will come out at some point too (one of them will definitely be an hour....the other, maybe close to 40 minutes?)

After that, we'll see what happens. I am sorry for all the promises I made and videos that will be left unfinished, but I need to "lock in" as the kids say if I REALLY wanna give acting/theatre/musical theatre the full shot. I'm still young and have relatively few financial responsibilities/burdens....and I know things ain't gonna be that way forever lmao.

If you still stick around this channel, that's great and thank you! I look forward to hopefully delivering some cool content in the future. But if not, I completely understand- and thank you for watching up to this point!

...this post kinda ended up being lengthy and saying everything I wanted to say anyways, huh

Long time, no talk/poll!

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on something: I have two unfinished (halfway or slightly less) video scripts. And although I am no longer able to see them to completion, I am very proud of what I did write/convey in them- so I refuse to just delete them and move on.

The question is now: how should I handle the uploads? One longer "Unfinished Video Compilation" although it's only two scripts or rather two separate uploads- one for each script/video.

For context: one of the videos will probably be around 30-40 minutes long whereas the other would probably be somewhere between 10-20 minutes (rough guesses, hard to know for sure until they're recorded/edited).

Which would you prefer/think is better? Please vote down below! Also please know that although these are scripts I no longer have the time to write til their planned ends- I still put a lot of thought, effort, and care into them and am extremely proud of the analysis I do offer in them. Also, a full video on the Scott Pilgrim comics is currently in the editing process!

Sorry as usual for the inconsistent uploads and updates- but I promise what I do have planned/in the works is worth the wait!

(Also the unfinished videos will still be edited like usual- they will just be stopping abruptly after a certain point).

What better way to unwind after some MANLY AS HELL football tomorrow than with an EVEN MANLIER AS HELL video going over the 2025 feature-length continuation to Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise which will premiere at 2:15PM (EST) on February 9th?

Looking forwward to sharing this one with you all! Even though it's been a quick minute since I've last talked about Zombie Land Saga (2021 being the last year I uploaded a video on it), it is still one of my favorite series of all time! So getting to finally see the antipicated movie and talk about it is really exciting!

So I just finished Unbeatable and wow...one YouTube post isn't enough to convey what makes this game so spectacular, but here we go anyways:

(Maybe copy and pasted from my Bluesky/Twitter tehee)

"Very few pieces of media (that I've consumed at least) get to the heart of an artist and why it is we express ourselves through what we do/create. Even a silly little guy like me who as of now just acts in community theatre and makes video essays about random stuff I like pours so much of my life experiences, emotions, etc. into these efforts/pursuits and this game and its story just...gets that.

And it's so fantastically emotional too through its story of self-expression, grief, trauma, anti-authority, and healing/self-discovery. So many themes/ideas/concepts are tackled: too many to properly talk about in this post- but seriously thank you and props to everyone who helped make Unbeatable the masterpiece that it is. I feel seven years better having just finished it. It's also getting me really pumped/motivated to finish my voice acting demo reel to start submitting to people because ahhhh I need to be involved in cool/meaningful stuff like this.

I'm not the best writer (in terms of like fictional narratives and how they need to be paced/written)- but I'm so in love with the idea of portraying characters in stories that represent the author/creator's thoughts/feelings on life or whatever they wanna talk about! It's a beautiful thing (also it's just fun and cool)

Anyways go play Unbeatable if you haven't, even if rhythm games aren't your thing. I wasn't a fan of them before this game but now...well maybe I need to check some more out. Not that any will likely the unique vibes/essence of this game though."

Do not be surprised if you see an Unbeatable video on this channel in the future. The above post really only is the tip of the iceburg in what makes this game so memorable and impactful. What can I say I love art about art. I'm looking at you Revue Starlight don't think I've forgotten you

1. A (relatively) short video about the new Zombie Land Saga movie (Yumeginga Paradise) has been recorded and is in the editing phase! Very excited to talk once more about one of my favorite series.

2. A video about the Scott Pilgrim comics has been recorded and is in the editing phase! I got into them at the end of last year, and found myself really enjoying them- so I look forward to sharing my thoughts on them with you all!

3. Another long ranking video but this time on the story routes in The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy is in the scriptwriting, recording, AND editing phase! (Because of the length it's being edited the further I get in the script). This one's probably gonna take a while because I got other stuff going on but it'll be worth it, I swear.

and lastly
4. I'm still going through a couple vns for future review videos.

Sorry for the radio silence- been feeling extra tired/empty lately. But in spite of that I've managed to work on some cool stuff and am also pretty close to recording a new voice acting demo reel so there's that! Thank you as always for your patience, and I can't wait to share more stuff with you once it's ready!

Also thanks to ‪@OtakuBox‬ gifting me Unbeatable on Steam for Christmas I've been playing/obsessed with it and it's very VERY good. I may want to make a video about it when I'm done? - but that depends if I can get all my thoughts/analysis/emotions in order and form it into something coherent.

Good news! (Maybe, depends who you ask I guess)

There will be at least TWO more videos coming to the channel this year! Now they're not long-form like my Hazbin Ranking, Sonic Adventure, or RWBY videos are- but they're videos I'm excited to share with you all nonetheless!

One is related to voice acting and a certain game that ate up four months of my 2025.

The other is a mini-review/analysis video of an anime movie I saw earlier this year and recently rewatched! It's definitely NOT just a slightly rewritten Letterboxd review of mine, why would you even ask that haha...

This year wasn't as active as I wanted it to be (my mental health took/is still taking a heavy toll the past few months) but I'm still proud of what's come out this year and being able to end things off with two more videos!

I think expecting to be able to be consistent while also trying to pursue acting/voice acting as a career was kinda silly on my part. I think infrequent uploads is just how this channel's gonna be from here on so I'm gonna try to stop sweating it!....and also making video plans I can't end up following through on *cough Science Adventure series marathon *cough*

I hope you all enjoy what I do upload, and I apologize that I can't do more! Sadly YouTube don't pay the bills so it's not like I can focus solely on it...actually neither does my acting lmao, HOW AM I PAYING MY BILLS?!

That being said, although I JUST said I'm gonna stop making plans far in advance: there is one video series/topic in particular that I never finished that I really wanna revisit and properly wrap up next year. Not gonna PROMISE it, but it's a series I still feel very strongly about even as other topics/stuff in my life drew me away from it. So look forward to that!

And I do have vague ideas/concepts of what I wanna do for this channel when I can manage the time. I'm not gonna promise/announce them or sweat it if I don't end up doing them/get distracted by other stuff- but they are video topics I think would make for some really fun uploads!

So once again: thank you as always to everyone for supporting this channel. I know I'm not consistent, and most of my interests are cringe lmao- but I do hope hearing me yap about why I love them and what makes them so great and NOT cringe is entertaining for you all! Looking forward to uploading a little more this year!

...and who knows? Maybe something will shift and I'll be able to upload more than two videos.
