When you grow up around toxic behaviors, it makes sense that you’d be drawn towards relationships that mimic those behaviors because it reminds you of the love you had as a kid:
- constant criticism - lack of boundaries - invalidation
Cutting someone off isn't about getting the other person to change; we’re not holding the relationship hostage. It's about clarity, creating the space you need to heal, and reclaiming your peace.
