A victim from the well-known incident at Club New York with Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jennifer Lopez, and rapper Shyne Barrow is determined to demonstrate her accusation that the music tycoon shot her in the face and escaped unscathed.

Natania Reuben, one of the trio injured in the event from 1999, is eager to have the bullet remains removed from her face for forensic evidence. The reason being, she hopes to prompt a re-examination of the case, as she discussed with guest presenter Brian Entin on News Nation's "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" last Friday.

“I’m willing to have a doctor remove a part of the nine-millimeter bullet in my face so that they can use it as evidence if need be for this trial, and it may cost me my life,” Reuben stressed the risks involved.

Barrow confessed in the courtroom to pulling the trigger that evening, however, Reuben has maintained his innocence for decades, claiming he unjustly bore the blame for Combs. She alleges she continues to carry nine bullet remnants lodged in her facial tissue from the incident, which occurred during the wee hours of Dec. 27, 1999 at the now-closed Club New York located near Times Square.

The gunfire erupted after a dispute between Diddy, who was then known as “Puffy,” and his entourage, and a Brooklyn drug dealer named Matthew “Scar” Allen.

Barrow, at the age of 21 and a member of Diddy's entourage, was captured by law enforcement as he fled the establishment brandishing a weapon.

Jennifer Lopez and P. Diddy were in a romantic relationship from 1999 to 2001. Following the incident at Club New York where shots were fired, both were taken into custody. Although Lopez was released without charges, Diddy stood trial and was later found not guilty.

Diddy and Lopez made a hasty exit from the establishment in a Lincoln Navigator, but authorities intercepted them on Eighth Avenue and placed them under arrest. Lopez spent 14 hours in custody before being let go, without facing any charges related to the incident.

Following a lengthy legal proceeding in 2001, Barrow received a 10-year prison sentence. Combs and his security, Anthony Jones, were found not guilty of weapon violations after the trial.

“I saw Mr. Combs … pull out a black gun with his right hand,” Reuben noted when she testified back then, and felt as if “a flaming hot sledgehammer had hit me in the face," she added.

Reuben is the mother of three children who has remained confident and has been sticking to the same story.

“I literally watched them pull out the guns, I had a clear point of view. I mean, for God’s sake, I got shot in my nose. I was facing them directly. I watched everything occur and have described it, vehemently to all parties involved,” Reuben had said while she was on an earlier showing of “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” this past Thursday.

It doesn't come as a surprise to her that some aren't believing her story:

“I give very little credibility to what they’re saying because, while everyone else is Monday morning quarterbacking, I am the survivor,” Reuben urged. “I was physically there. Who better to tell you what happened than the person who got shot smack dab in between my eyes."

Despite her brave efforts, Reuben says she fears the fate of an untimely death.

“I’m a healthy woman. I live a simple, quiet, risk-averse life. So, if I should meet with an untimely demise, it would require, be worthy of deep investigation. I understand the peril of what I’m exposing my life to," Reuben concluded.

Fed up with the city's inaction, a California couple took it upon themselves to tackle a pervasive problem: crumbling roadways. Alex and Daisy De La Rosa, a courier duo in Compton, became unhappy victims of the city's neglected streets, experiencing flat tires, suspension woes, and marital spats, according to KABC, due to the constant car-battering potholes.

Taking a stand, Alex began patching potholes on their block. Witnessing the improvement, Daisy, ever the pragmatist, voiced concerns about the cost. Alex, however, was determined, insisting on a one-pothole-at-a- time approach.
Spreading the Patchwork Gospel
The De La Rosas documented their efforts on social media, resonating with fellow residents equally exasperated by the city's dilapidated infrastructure.

"Our entire city is riddled with massive potholes," Daisy wrote in a crowdsourcing platform, GoFundMe. "These constant impacts are damaging our vehicles, causing flats, and ruining suspensions. We've pleaded with the city, but they seem overwhelmed. Many of us can't afford these repairs!"
From Pockets to Public Support
Initially, the resourceful couple funded their pothole crusade themselves. But as their guerrilla roadwork expanded, they launched a GoFundMe campaign to offset the cost of asphalt. The community responded generously, exceeding their $1,000 goal by $730. Videos posted on TikTok even showed their young children lending a helping hand.

Irony Paves the Way for Frustration
Just as their efforts gained momentum, the De La Rosas received a bureaucratic slap in the face – a cease-and-desist letter from Compton's Community Improvement Services Department. The letter, dated March 14th, cited concerns about public safety and adherence to established procedures. The city threatened fines, fees, and even liability for any damages caused by their repairs.
Disappointed but Defiant
The couple was understandably disheartened to be stopped, particularly given the city's apparent lack of initiative. "We brought attention to this ongoing issue!" exclaimed Daisy. "We exposed those in power and showed that our voices matter! It's a shame they were quick to shut us down, but not so quick to help!"
Echoes of a Terminator
This incident isn't the first time Californians have taken matters into their own hands. In 2023, former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger famously filled a giant pothole plaguing his Los Angeles neighborhood, highlighting the need for improved infrastructure.

A former NYPD officer, arrested last October, now faces formal charges for allegedly peddling heroin and fentanyl while still on active duty.

Prosecutors in Manhattan indicted Grace Rosa Baez, 37, of the Bronx, alongside Cesar Martinez, 42, of Yonkers. Both pleaded not guilty this week to the charges of conspiring to distribute and distribute narcotics, according to U.S. Attorney Damian Williams for the Southern District of New York.

Court documents allege Baez attempted to sell the drugs to an undercover source between October 9th and 19th. The indictment, filed on March 20th, details how Baez provided the informant with a sample of fentanyl, supposedly high-grade, disguised in a Mentos candy container. She then allegedly offered a kilo of heroin for $25,000 and discussed negotiating a price for 800 grams of fentanyl based on its purity.

The papers further reveal Baez, who joined the NYPD in 2012, had multiple meetings with the informant. Currently, she is confined to her home with electronic monitoring, while Martinez remains in jail without bail.

A policeman from Arkansas, who previously bragged about being a person young individuals admire, was apprehended in Texas for supposedly attempting to engage in sexual activities with a minor girl. However, it was later revealed that the girl was an undercover officer. This information was provided by officials.

Telvin Wilson, a 31-year-old law enforcement officer from Texarkana, Arkansas, found himself implicated in a recent criminal case along with two other individuals. These charges arose as a result of a covert operation carried out by the police in Texarkana, Texas - a city that shares a name and borders Arkansas and Texas.

According to authorities, law enforcement officers from Texas posted a counterfeit advertisement on a notorious prostitution website. Subsequently, they assumed the identity of an individual claiming to be a minor girl when the men responded to the advertisement.

As per authorities, despite the decoy informing all three men that she was underage, they still expressed a desire to meet up and solicit her for sexual services. The individuals in question are being referred to as alleged creeps.

“When the guys showed up and knocked, they were shocked when several police officers answered the door instead of the young girl they were expecting,” the cops in Texarkana, Texas noted.

According to authorities, Wilson was accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a minor online and was then assigned a bail amount of $100,000.

Following the arrest, the Texarkana, Arkansas police department promptly terminated Wilson's employment upon being informed, as confirmed by officials in communication with Fox News Digital.

According to a post published on Facebook in February, Wilson hails from Texarkana, Texas, and commenced his professional journey with the Arkansas Department in 2016.

In the post, Telvin Wilson expressed his appreciation for being a person “that our young people can come and talk to.”

“I have always wanted to be that officer that is able to communicate with the public and be comfortable while doing so,” he mentioned.

“I am a proud father of two, who I enjoy spending time with. When I am off duty I enjoy going to the gym and working out," Wilson added.

Adarius Wills, aged 33, and James Willis, aged 37, were the additional suspects apprehended in the operation. Wills faces accusations of engaging in sexual misconduct with a minor through online communication and distributing marijuana. On the other hand, Willis is charged with online solicitation of a minor involving sexual conduct, delivering a controlled substance, resisting arrest, evading arrest, putting a child at risk with the intention to return, and possessing a controlled substance.

According to authorities, the police reported that the undercover sting operation took place over a couple of days.
